2026 Zeekr 001
By Lorenzo Bianchi October 13, 2025
Upgraded 900V architecture with 10-minute fast charging.
680 kW dual-motor setup with 762 km range (CLTC).
Revised exterior, enhanced interior tech, and smarter suspension.
Design and Refinement
The 2026 Zeekr 001 doesn’t scream for attention, but it’s clear this isn’t just a facelift. The front bumper now wears a horizontal intake design, tidier and more technical than before, while the rear gains faux vent detailing that replaces last year’s red reflectors. New color options — Mysterious Purple and Starry Gray — add variety to an already confident palette of pearl white, deep black, and hunter green. Subtle, but cohesive.
Interior and Comfort Upgrades
Inside, the cabin is calmer and cleaner. The air vents stretch wider with bright silver accents, and Zeekr has ditched some of the angled stitching for a more uniform layout. The center console now includes physical buttons for key functions — a welcome return after driver complaints about excessive touch controls. A 29-speaker Zeekr Sound Max system, 256-color ambient lighting, and a 39.3-inch AR-HUD headline the upgrades, along with massaging front seats and reclining rears that now feature powered leg rests and ventilation.
Performance and Technology
Built on the brand’s new 900V high-voltage platform, the 2026 model raises the bar for speed and efficiency. The Ultra AWD version delivers 680 kW, pushing the big liftback from 0–100 km/h in just 2.83 seconds. With a 103 kWh battery, it reaches up to 762 km on the CLTC cycle and can recharge from 10–80% in about 10 minutes. The chassis adds CCD adaptive damping and optional dual-chamber air suspension, fine-tuned to handle altitude and rougher conditions.
Driver Assistance and Intelligence
Every 2026 Zeekr 001 now comes standard with the Thousand Mile Vast H7 driver assistance suite, powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U chips delivering 700 TOPS of processing power. It pairs with a LiDAR sensor and 31 external perception units. This system improves detection range and processing precision, placing Zeekr’s tech among the most advanced in its segment.
Priced from ¥26.98 million (limited offer: ¥25.98 million), the refreshed 001 faces a crowded lineup of smart luxury EVs — think Xiaomi SU7, IM L6, and XPeng P7. But the Zeekr’s new charging system, range, and tactile design tweaks help it stay relevant in an increasingly competitive field.
