The front fascia differs depending on powertrain. Gasoline, plug-in hybrid and pure electric variants each receive distinct treatments, while the Stralight family’s “X” lighting signature ties the lineup together. Clean surfacing and vertical proportions reinforce the SUV’s functional intent.
Exterior finishes use an eight-layer coating process designed to improve durability, wear resistance and long-term colour consistency. It is a practical decision aligned with everyday use rather than showroom theatrics.

The plug-in hybrid variant delivers a WLTC combined range of up to 1,100 km, with WLTC fuel consumption of 5.3 L/100 km in charge-sustaining mode. In its price segment, this is positioned as a standout figure.
The pure electric version offers up to 500 km of CLTC range, with energy consumption of 13.1 kWh/100 km and 2C fast charging capability.
All variants sit on SAIC-GM-Wuling’s latest platform and use independent front and rear suspension, combining MacPherson struts with a multi-link rear setup.
Structural Safety and Engineering Focus
Safety development for the 2026 Wuling Stralight 560 centres on a high-strength steel cage body, with high-strength steel accounting for up to 74.9% of the structure. Key load-bearing areas incorporate 1,500 MPa hot-formed steel.
Additional measures include reinforced front and rear crash beams, battery systems validated at scale with a stated record of zero spontaneous combustion incidents, and dual-lens headlights offering up to 190 meters of high-beam illumination with standard cornering assistance.
