Teaser Confirms November Launch
Voyah Automobile has released official teaser material confirming the arrival of the 2026 Voyah Taishan Max Plus, scheduled for launch in November. Positioned as a large SUV, the new model signals a technology-forward direction for the brand, integrating Huawei’s latest HarmonyOS Qiankun assisted driving system, HUAWEI ADS 4, alongside the HarmonySpace 5 cockpit.
Even at first glance, the Taishan Max Plus presents itself as a flagship. It is large, assertive and unashamedly premium in its detailing.
Aerodynamic Form and External Proportions
Measuring 5,230 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,817 mm in height, the 2026 Voyah Taishan Max Plus has a substantial 3,120 mm wheelbase. These figures place it squarely in the full size SUV category. The drag coefficient is quoted at 0.278, a notable figure for a vehicle of this scale.
At the front, a new multi spoke grille finished with chrome trim sets a formal tone. The illuminated logo sits centrally, with a daytime running light strip stretching across the full width. Split headlamps sit lower in the fascia, creating a layered lighting signature that feels contemporary without being excessive.
The side profile carries a two tone body treatment and large disc shaped wheels that reinforce the vehicle’s presence. Semi concealed door handles feature illuminated accents, while electric running boards assist entry and exit. The proportions are long and upright, but the surfacing is carefully controlled, preventing the Taishan from appearing heavy.
The Voyah wordmark is positioned in the middle of a continuous taillight assembly that spans the width at the back. A pronounced roof spoiler completes the silhouette.
Plug In Hybrid System and 800V Platform
Powering the 2026 Voyah Taishan Max Plus is the Lanhai Intelligent Super Hybrid system, pairing a 1.5T engine with a dual motor four wheel drive layout. The engine produces 110 kW. Combined system output has not been disclosed. [Unverified]
Energy storage is handled by a 63 kWh ternary lithium battery pack supplied by CATL and SVOLT Energy. Under the CLTC cycle, the pure electric range is rated at 370 km, with a combined range of 1,400 km.
The model operates on an 800V high voltage platform and supports 5C super fast charging. Charging from 20 per cent to 80 per cent is claimed to take 12 minutes. These figures position the Taishan Max Plus among the more advanced plug in hybrid offerings in terms of charging performance.
Intelligent Driving and Chassis Technology
Technology integration is central to the Taishan’s identity. The vehicle is equipped with four lidar sensors, enabling Level 3 intelligent driver assistance functions, including urban NCA and automated parking in various scenarios.
Inside, the cabin will feature heated, ventilated and massaging zero gravity seats, underscoring its comfort oriented positioning.
Chassis technology is equally ambitious. A three-chamber air suspension system with an EDC magic carpet feature will be introduced in the 2026 Voyah Taishan Max Plus.It also features 16-degree independent rear wheel steering in both directions to enhance stability and mobility.
In a market increasingly characterized by electrification and digital capability, the Taishan Max Plus promotes itself as a big format SUV built to combine long range flexibility with high voltage efficiency. It is significant in every way.
