The cabin sees the most useful changes. A 12.9-inch touchscreen now features on upper trims, with a 10.4-inch display retained for base versions. Volkswagen has also brought back physical buttons for climate and audio functions, which should please drivers frustrated by the all-touch layout of recent models.

The digital cluster remains configurable and sharp, while the brand’s Travel Assist system adds semi-autonomous capabilities to everyday driving. Materials feel a notch better than before, with softer trims in key areas and upholstery choices that push the T-Roc a little closer to its bigger siblings in quality.

Powertrain: The eTSI Makes Its Entrance

The headline addition is the 1.5 TSI eTSI mild-hybrid powertrain. It is the efficiency-focused option in the lineup, meant to reduce fuel consumption and ease stop-start traffic without significantly altering the driving experience.

The 2.0 TSI with AWD remains available, delivering stronger performance for those who want more power or plan to take advantage of all-weather grip.
