2026 Urban Automotive Urus SE Widetrack

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • Full carbon fibre Widetrack kit developed in-house by Urban Automotive.

  • Body widened by 40 mm with extended arches and aero upgrades.

  • Design references Aventador SVJ and Miura heritage cues.

A Urus reworked with a clear design agenda

The 2026 Urban Automotive Urus SE Widetrack doesn’t try to hide what it is.

It’s a full visual rework of Lamborghini’s performance SUV, built around Urban Automotive’s OEM+ approach. That means the base car stays recognisable, but nearly every surface has been reconsidered and, in most cases, replaced.

The project took over 10,000 hours to develop, which starts to explain why the changes feel cohesive rather than layered on.

Exterior changes reshape the entire stance

From the front, the differences are immediate.

A three-piece carbon fibre splitter with canard end planes sits lower and more pronounced than the standard setup. Above it, a replacement carbon bonnet introduces a functional vent layout, drawing clear inspiration from the Aventador SVJ.

The exposed carbon finish, along with 3D-printed vent elements, gives the front end a more technical feel without drifting away from Lamborghini’s design language.

Move to the sides, and the Widetrack name starts to make sense. Six-piece carbon fibre wheel arch extensions push the body out by 40 mm, changing how the car sits on the road. The effect is noticeable without looking forced.

There are smaller references built into the design. The side sill extensions include an aero feature that nods to the Miura’s intake design, while the side panels integrate Urban’s branding into a hex-pattern finish.

At the rear, the changes are harder to ignore. A new carbon bumper integrates a double-vented diffuser with separated canard elements, while a second carbon spoiler sits above the original, creating a stacked aero look.

Quad billet exhausts finish the setup, adding another visual layer without overwhelming the rear.

Proportions feel wider, but still controlled

Despite the added width, the Urus SE Widetrack doesn’t look oversized.

The 40 mm increase spreads the mass more evenly across the car, giving it a broader, more planted stance.

Wheel choice plays a role here. Urban-Vossen UV-1R wheels fill the arches properly, avoiding the gap you sometimes see with widebody conversions.

The overall effect is subtle in isolation, but more noticeable the longer you look at it.

Interior remains open to interpretation

Urban Automotive hasn’t defined a fixed interior specification for the Widetrack.

Instead, buyers can configure materials, colours, and finishes based on preference. [Unverified]

That approach fits the nature of the build. The exterior is clearly defined, but the cabin is left flexible.

Powertrain stays tied to the Urus SE platform

Mechanically, the Widetrack remains based on the Urus SE.

That means the underlying powertrain and performance figures are unchanged from the standard model.

Urban’s focus here is visual and aerodynamic rather than mechanical modification.

Practical usability stays intact

Despite the extensive changes, the core usability of the Urus is preserved.

The modifications don’t interfere with how the car is used day to day.

That balance is part of the OEM+ philosophy Urban follows.

Positioned as a bespoke upgrade rather than a standalone model

The 2026 Urban Automotive Urus SE Widetrack isn’t a separate vehicle.

It’s a conversion, available from £51,800 fitted, aimed at owners looking for something more distinctive without moving away from the original platform.

With global debuts in both the UK and Las Vegas, it also signals Urban’s growing presence beyond its home market
