2026 Toyota Corolla Sport

Toyota introduces the G Z ACTIVE ELEGANCE to celebrate the Corolla's 60th anniversary.
Exclusive trim, new interior finishes and special badging distinguish the limited model.
New wheel designs and fresh paint combinations give the hatchback a more premium look.
Sixty years after the Corolla first appeared, Toyota isn't trying to reinvent one of its most successful cars. The latest Corolla Sport receives a handful of updates, but the bigger story is the arrival of the G Z ACTIVE ELEGANCE. Rather than chasing more power or a dramatic redesign, Toyota has focused on the details that owners notice every day.
Small Changes That Freshen the Look
Anyone familiar with the Corolla Sport will recognise it immediately. The proportions haven't changed, and neither has the hatchback's clean, sporty silhouette. Toyota has instead concentrated on the finishing touches.
The anniversary model wears subtle Smoked Silver exterior accents, while 60th Anniversary emblems appear on both front fenders. New paint choices expand the palette too, including Dark Blue Mica, Neutral Black and two-tone combinations that pair a black roof with either Platinum White Pearl Mica or Emotional Red III. None of these changes shout for attention, but together they give the car a more distinctive presence.
The Cabin Gets Most of the Attention
Open the door and it's clear where Toyota has spent most of its effort.
The special edition introduces a Château and Black interior that feels warmer than the standard cabin. A synthetic leather instrument panel carries an anniversary logo, while Smoked Silver trim pieces and aluminum pedals add just enough contrast without making the interior feel busy. It's the sort of upgrade that makes the cabin feel a little more special every time you climb in, rather than something you'll only notice on delivery day.
Sporty Details Without Going Overboard
Toyota hasn't tried to turn the Corolla Sport into a hot hatch. Instead, it keeps the familiar recipe and sharpens the presentation.
Fresh 18 inch alloy wheels wrapped in 225/40R18 tyres give the car a stronger stance, while black painted details help tie the exterior together. Looking through the official images, the updates feel restrained, which suits a model that's always balanced everyday usability with understated style.
A Milestone Worth Marking
Mechanical changes are not the focus of this update. Toyota's attention is firmly on celebrating six decades of the Corolla nameplate with cosmetic improvements that make the hatchback feel more premium without changing what already works.
