2026 Talos XXT
By Lorenzo Bianchi November 4, 2025
The TALOS XXT is limited to only five units worldwide, while no two vehicles are alike.
An obsessive attention to detail and commitment to luxury is testament to bespoke British craftsmanship.
Fully customisable, the TALOS XXT performance figures include 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds, 205mph top speed, 674Bhp.
A Grand Tourer with Racing Pedigree
From a discreet workshop in Yorkshire emerges something rare: the 2026 Talos XXT, a race-inspired grand tourer that fuses the raw theatre of a Ferrari 599XX with the civility of a long-distance cruiser. Built in just five examples, each XXT is a hand-formed statement of what British engineering and patience can achieve when freed from mass-production constraints.
The car starts life as a 599 GTB, but little of the original remains untouched. Talos replaces the bodywork with all-new carbon fibre panels — each cured, sanded, and finished by hand. The result is familiar in proportion yet transformed in intent: shorter overhangs, tauter surfacing, and a stance that sits low and resolute. The body’s weave, visible beneath either gloss or matte lacquer, tells its own story of craft.
Jamie Thwaites, Managing Director of Talos Vehicles, calls the XXT “a grand tourer for those who demand nothing but the best, and who want their vehicle to reflect their individuality”.
Engineering and Emotion
The 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12, retained and refined from its Ferrari origins, now produces 674 horsepower. It delivers a claimed 0–62 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph, the numbers secondary only to the sensation of mechanical purity. Weight is kept low through the carbon chassis, titanium fittings, and race-derived detailing.
The cabin, however, softens the tone. Rather than stripped-out minimalism, it surrounds driver and passenger in handcrafted luxury — bespoke leather, brushed metalwork, and the option of exposed carbon trim. Clients can specify virtually everything: from gearbox type (automatic or manual) to carbon finish, paint tone, and even the acoustic character of the exhaust system.
Thwaites explains that “every XXT is an interpretation of its owner’s vision,” and that philosophy extends beyond design. Buyers can request performance tuning or drivetrain enhancements directly from Talos engineers — a level of involvement rarely offered outside motorsport.
A Collector’s Future Classic
At a time when electrification dominates the headlines, the 2026 Talos XXT stands out for its unapologetically mechanical soul. Its limited production of five cars isn’t a marketing strategy but a structural reality — each carbon panel mould will be used only once.
Talos’ background in defence engineering and motorsport gives the XXT its dual personality: formidable performance with endurance-level reliability. For collectors, that rarity and pedigree ensure its future as both a driving experience and an appreciating artifact of analogue excellence
The result is not just another reimagined Ferrari. It’s something more deliberate — a hand-built, deeply personal grand tourer designed for those who value sensation over spectacle.
