The 2026 Renault Clio (Clio 6) features updated styling, is around 70mm longer, and is offered in petrol, hybrid, and LPG variants.
Interior upgrades include dual 10-inch screens powered by Google’s infotainment, and up to 29 driver assistance systems on higher trims.
Pricing will rise above the Clio 5’s €16,900 base, supported by Renault’s dual offering strategy with Dacia to maintain value positioning.
Sleeker, Sharper, and Slightly Larger
Unveiled at the Munich Motor Show, the 2026 Renault Clio marks the most comprehensive update since its 2019 launch. The new design is sharper—front and rear styling lean more aerodynamic and expressive, and the model stretches about 7 cm longer than its predecessor. It will continue production in Turkey, where the Ferrari-selling Clio 5 remains the top-seller in Europe so far in 2025.
Powertrain Options for Every Driver
Renault broadens the powertrain lineup. The Clio 6 offers three main options:
Petrol – A standard fuel setup.
Full hybrid (E-Tech 160) – A 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine combined with electric assistance, delivering almost 160 hp, improved torque, and a 0–100 km/h time near 8.3 seconds, while cutting emissions significantly.
LPG (Eco-G 120) – A liquefied petroleum gas engine delivering 120 hp and around 200 Nm, offering practical and cost-effective urban driving.
Tech Upgrades Boosting the Driver Experience
The cabin sees significant modernization. Higher trims come with dual 10-inch displays—one behind the steering wheel and another for infotainment, running on Google platforms with Apps, Maps, and Assistant.
Safety and driving aids have expanded—up to 29 driver assistance systems are available, including emerging tech typically found in larger models.
The Clio 6 is priced above the Clio 5’s €16,900 base, reflecting the upgraded tech and dimension changes. Renault expects to retain competitiveness, especially since its Dacia brand covers the entry-level end of the market.
