Porsche is kicking off the new model year for its electric Macan with a move that's more about paperwork than powertrain: a new Advanced Package that folds several of the SUV's most-ordered options into one line item. It's available across the Macan, Macan 4, and Macan 4S, and it's aimed at buyers who'd otherwise be checking the same boxes individually anyway.

What's Actually in the Box

The exterior side of the package covers a panoramic roof system, Matrix LED headlights, and mirrors — both interior and exterior — that dim automatically. Buyers also get to pick an exterior color from Porsche's 'Shades' or 'Contrasts' palettes as part of the deal, which is a small but real upgrade over the standard color sheet. None of this changes the Macan's silhouette, but Matrix LED lighting and the panoramic roof are the kind of details that show up clearly in a walk-around.

Cabin Gets the Comfort Treatment

Inside, the package adds 14-way electrically adjustable Comfort seats, a black Leather package, and a Bose Surround Sound System. It's a reasonable stack for anyone cross-shopping premium electric SUVs, where seat adjustability and audio tend to be the first things people notice on a test drive.

Suspension and Steering Come Along Too

The chassis side of things is where the package gets more substantial. It includes Power Steering Plus along with adaptive air suspension featuring a levelling system, ride-height adjustment, and Porsche Active Suspension Management. That's a meaningful inclusion — PASM alone is often a standalone option on other Porsche models, so bundling it here changes the value equation for buyers who wanted it anyway.

Pricing and the Case for Bundling

In Germany, the package runs €5,990.46 (VAT included) for the Macan and Macan 4, and €5,299.07 for the Macan 4S. Porsche says that works out to savings of up to 45 percent compared with ordering every option on its own — a discount steep enough that most buyers configuring a Macan will likely default to it rather than pick and choose.

Standard Equipment Moves Up Too

Separate from the package, Porsche is raising the baseline spec across the board. Adaptive cruise control and Automated Parking with 2D Surround View are now standard, with the system detecting parking spaces and handling both parallel and perpendicular maneuvers — including backing out of parallel spots — on its own. Remote Park Assist, which lets drivers control parking via smartphone, remains an option rather than standard fit.

Faster Charging, Inside and Out

The wireless charging pad in the centre console now delivers up to 25 watts, up from 15, which should meaningfully cut phone charging time on longer drives. For the vehicle itself, Macan GTS and Turbo models now come with a 22 kW onboard AC charger as standard, while the Macan, Macan 4, and Macan 4S charge at up to 11 kW standard, with the 22 kW unit available as an option. Every Macan variant tops out at 270 kW on compatible DC fast chargers.
