2026 Omoda 9 SHS-P Black Noble

The new Black Noble grade introduces an all-black exterior and interior treatment for the flagship OMODA 9 SHS-P.
MY26 updates add revised suspension tuning, front massage seats, upgraded seating, and improved ride quality.
The plug-in hybrid system continues with up to 449 PS, 700 Nm, and more than 700 miles of combined driving range.
The 2026 OMODA 9 SHS-P isn't arriving with a complete redesign. Instead, OMODA has focused on refining the SUV in places owners are likely to notice every day. There is a fresh flagship grade, a more comfortable cabin, revised suspension tuning and a handful of technology updates, all introduced as part of the MY26 range.
The headline addition is the Black Noble, a new version that gives the plug-in hybrid SUV a darker personality without changing what sits underneath. Alongside it, every MY26 OMODA 9 SHS-P benefits from updates aimed at improving ride quality, comfort and everyday usability.
A Darker Take On The Flagship
The Black Noble is easy to spot.
Finished in Iced Jasper Black, the new grade replaces bright exterior trim with black detailing throughout. Matte black roof rails, bumper trim pieces and black alloy wheels all contribute to the monochrome appearance, while black suede touches continue the same theme inside the cabin.
It doesn't dramatically alter the SUV's shape, but it gives the OMODA 9 a noticeably different character compared with the standard version.
Comfort Receives Equal Attention
The visual changes are only part of the MY26 update.
Inside, OMODA has introduced a suede cloth headlining along with front massage seats designed to make longer journeys more comfortable. Both front occupants now benefit from expanded electric seat adjustment, while the driver's seat also gains an electrically adjustable thigh support. None of these are headline-grabbing additions on their own, but together they give the cabin a more premium feel than before.
The chassis has also been revised. Engineers have retuned the independent suspension and paired it with Continuous Damping Control, allowing the system to react to changing road surfaces in real time. An updated steering calibration accompanies those suspension revisions, with the goal of delivering better body control and a more settled driving experience on both urban roads and longer motorway journeys.
Hybrid Performance Carries Over
Mechanically, the 2026 OMODA 9 SHS-P continues with the brand's Super Hybrid System in SHS-P form.
The combination of a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 34.46 kWh battery produces up to 449 PS and 700 Nm of torque. OMODA quotes a 0–62 mph time of 4.9 seconds, while total driving range exceeds 700 miles, including up to 90 miles in electric-only operation. Official CO₂ emissions are listed from 38 g/km.
Practicality has been improved as well. Vehicle-to-Load capability has been upgraded to 6.6 kW, allowing owners to power a wider range of external equipment, whether at a campsite, worksite or away from conventional power sources.
Arriving This Summer
The MY26 range starts from £44,995 OTR, while the new Black Noble is priced from £46,495 OTR. Both versions are already available to pre-order in the UK, with customer deliveries beginning in August. OMODA says the launch comes as its UK retail network expands to 146 dealers, alongside the arrival of the new OMODA 7, further broadening the brand's SUV lineup.
Rather than reinventing its flagship, the 2026 OMODA 9 SHS-P focuses on incremental improvements. The updates are subtle, but they target the areas drivers interact with most, from ride quality and seating comfort to the usability of the plug-in hybrid system itself.
