2026 Novitec Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider
By Lorenzo Bianchi August 4, 2026
Novitec's exposed-carbon aero package covers the front fascia, hood outlets, rear lip spoiler, diffuser and rocker panels of the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider.
A new NF12 wheel design, developed with Vossen, debuts on the Spider in a centerlock-style hub cover with five Y-shaped spokes.
Sports springs drop ride height by roughly 30mm, and a tunable stainless steel or Inconel exhaust system is available for the 6.5-litre V12.
Ferrari's 12Cilindri Spider is barely out, and Novitec's already built a full customization program around it. The German tuning house, which specializes exclusively in cars from Maranello, is offering exposed-carbon aero parts and a new wheel design for the open-top V12 front-engine car.
Exterior Design
Most of Novitec's work centers on carbon-fibre components finished with a high-gloss sealer, aimed at both looks and aerodynamic function. Up front, a lip spoiler pairs with new surrounds for the side air intakes, while the central air intake, the two vertical bars, and the panel between the headlights all get swapped for exposed-carbon parts. The hood picks up carbon components around its two air outlets and the trim panels behind the front wheel arches. Under the hood, Novitec extends the carbon treatment to the engine bay panels and both air filter boxes. Around back, a three-piece rear lip spoiler works alongside a matching carbon diffuser, and the same material shows up on the rocker panels and exterior mirror covers.
Proportions and Stance
Novitec fits the Spider with staggered wheels to play up what the company calls the car's athletic wedge shape. The example detailed in the release runs 10Jx21 wheels with 275/35 ZR 21 tires up front and 12Jx22 wheels with 325/30 ZR 22 tires at the rear — a notably wider footprint out back than up front.
Interior Space and Technology
Novitec also offers cockpit refinement across the 12Cilindri range, working in leather and Alcantara across what the company describes as an extensive range of colors.
Powertrain and Performance
The 6.5-litre V12 stays mechanically as Ferrari built it, but Novitec offers a high-performance exhaust system engineered around optimal gas routing, with actively controlled butterfly valves that switch between a subtler and a distinctly sportier note. It's available in stainless steel or ultralight Inconel — the same material used in Formula 1 exhaust systems — with an optional 999 fine gold plating on the Inconel version for better heat dissipation. Sports catalysts with special insulation are also available for further tuning, and the tailpipes themselves come in matte black or that same gold-plated finish, shaped to match the Ferrari's rear-end contours.
Practical Usability
Ride height drops by about 30mm courtesy of Novitec's sports springs, which the company says lowers the car's center of gravity for more agile handling on top of the visual change.
Market Positioning
Novitec describes itself as the world's leading refinement specialist for Ferrari's current lineup, and this program slots in as an aftermarket customization option rather than a factory Ferrari offering. The NF12 wheel marks the first time this particular design has appeared on the Spider body style, joining three other wheel designs Novitec already offers for the 12Cilindri family.
