2026 Nissan Armada Jungle Patrol Concept
By Lorenzo Bianchi November 3, 2026
The 2026 Nissan Armada Jungle Patrol Concept transforms Nissan's full-size SUV into an open-roof safari vehicle with a tubular roll cage and inward-facing bench seats.
Custom CJD Racing long-travel suspension, adjustable coilovers and 37-inch Yokohama Geolandar G003 M/T tires support its off-road configuration.
The concept retains the standard 425 hp, 516 lb-ft 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 and adds a prototype NISMO cat-back exhaust system.
Nissan Armada Jungle Patrol Concept Revealed at SEMA 2026
Nissan has unveiled the 2026 Nissan Armada Jungle Patrol Concept, an extensively modified full-size SUV designed around the traditional safari vehicle format.
Presented at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the concept joins the Frontier RONIN and Pathfinder XE-V6 in Nissan's latest collection of off-road projects.
Unlike the more conventional modifications applied to the other two vehicles, Jungle Patrol adopts an open-roof layout with a tubular roll cage and passenger seating arranged for expedition-style travel.
Open Roof Design and Jungle Inspired Exterior
The Armada Jungle Patrol departs considerably from the standard SUV's enclosed body.
Its roof has been replaced by an open structure incorporating a tubular roll cage, giving the vehicle a distinctly safari-oriented configuration.
A jungle-inspired exterior livery accompanies custom tubular steel bumpers and widened fender flares.
NISMO Off Road rock sliders provide additional protection along the lower body.
Six-inch NISMO Off Road lights are mounted above the passenger compartment to improve illumination in remote environments.
The exterior modifications focus on accessibility, protection and off-road equipment rather than conventional road-going styling.
Wider Track and Long Travel Racing Suspension
The concept rides on a widened track supported by custom CJD Racing long-travel suspension components.
Adjustable high-performance coilovers incorporate remote reservoirs and bypass technology to manage suspension movement over uneven terrain.
The vehicle uses prototype 18-inch NISMO AXIS beadlock wheels fitted with 37x12.50R18 Yokohama Geolandar G003 mud-terrain tires.
These substantial tires complement the modified wheel arches and suspension architecture.
Safari Seating and Open Cabin Layout
The most significant interior change is the installation of custom inward-facing bench seats with harnesses.
Rather than following the conventional forward-facing passenger arrangement, the seating reflects the layout traditionally associated with safari vehicles.
The open-roof structure further distinguishes the passenger compartment from the standard Armada.
425 HP Twin Turbo V6 and NISMO Exhaust
The Armada Jungle Patrol retains Nissan's direct-injected 3.5-litre VR35 twin-turbocharged V6.
Its quoted standard output is 425 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.
A prototype NISMO cat-back exhaust system is among the mechanical modifications listed for the concept.
SEMA Display and Future Nissan Accessories
Jungle Patrol will be displayed at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 3–6, 2026.
