2026 NIO ET9 Millionth Anniversary Edition
By Lorenzo Bianchi January 7, 2026
Only nine ET9 Millionth Anniversary Edition units will be built worldwide.
Micro LED headlights and bespoke exterior details distinguish the edition visually.
Dual-motor electric power delivers 620km of range and sub-4.5-second acceleration.
A flagship form refined with ceremonial detail
The 2026 NIO ET9 Millionth Anniversary Edition is designed to feel significant before it moves. Based on the ET9 flagship sedan, the limited model retains NIO’s established design language but layers it with details intended to signal its place in the brand’s history.
At the front, the ET9 presents a broad, grounded face consistent with a full-size luxury sedan. Micro LED headlights form a key visual and functional feature, capable of adaptive high-beam control that avoids dazzling oncoming traffic while also projecting lane markings onto the road surface. The effect is technical rather than theatrical, reinforcing the ET9’s role as a technology-led flagship.
From the side, the car adopts a coupe-style fastback silhouette, with long, flowing lines that soften its overall mass. A unique “1000000” badge appears on the front fender, paired with a two-tone upper and lower body finish. Large 23-inch nine-hole forged wheels anchor the profile, adding visual weight without breaking the car’s composure.
Interior built around exclusivity and space
Inside, the ET9 Millionth Anniversary Edition follows the layout of the standard ET9 while elevating its sense of occasion. The cabin uses a four-seat configuration, centred around an “executive bridge” that runs nearly two metres between the front and rear rows. This structure integrates 20 subsystems, including an electrically operated smart refrigerator and a 360-degree infinitely adjustable executive chair.
Technology remains front and centre. A rectangular steering wheel sits ahead of a full-range AR head-up display, complemented by a streaming rear-view mirror. Screen real estate is extensive, with a 15.6-inch AMOLED central display, a 14.5-inch rear-seat screen, and an 8-inch rear multi-function control panel. Exclusive “1,000,000” lettering appears on the lumbar supports, centre console, and door sills, reinforcing the model’s limited status without excess decoration.
Electric performance suited to a flagship brief
Performance matches the ET9’s visual confidence. The car employs a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive electric system, producing 180kW at the front and 340kW at the rear. Combined output enables a 0–100km/h time of 4.3 seconds, a figure that prioritises smooth authority rather than outright aggression.
Energy is supplied by a 102kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed pure electric range of 620 kilometres. Buyers can choose NIO’s Battery as a Service option, reducing the purchase price and including ten years of free battery swapping, an arrangement that aligns with the car’s long-term ownership positioning.
Positioning as a symbolic flagship
Only nine units of the ET9 Millionth Anniversary Edition will be produced globally, split across three themed variants. Pricing starts at RMB 818,000, or RMB 710,000 when purchased under the battery rental scheme. This is not positioned as a volume model or a performance statement, but as a symbolic marker of NIO reaching its millionth vehicle.
