Building on past collaborations such as the MINI STRIP (2021) and MINI Recharged by Paul Smith (2022), this new edition brings the designer’s distinctive approach, “Classic with a twist,” into MINI’s latest generation.

Available across both electric and combustion engine versions of the MINI Cooper 3-door, 5-door, and Convertible (excluding John Cooper Works models), the Paul Smith Edition showcases the playful, optimistic, and independent spirit shared by both brands. Its world premiere at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo marks a celebration of British creativity on a global stage.

Unmistakable Look with a British Twist

The MINI Paul Smith Edition combines MINI’s compact proportions and design purity with Paul Smith’s refined aesthetic. Exclusive exterior colors, intricate detailing, and subtle nods to heritage reinterpret the familiar silhouette for a modern audience.

The edition comes in three carefully selected finishes:

• Statement Grey – a modern reinterpretation of the original 1959 Mini Austin Seven’s bluish-grey.
• Inspired White – a contemporary homage to the Classic Mini Beige.
• Midnight Black Metallic – a timeless, elegant tone from the current MINI palette.

Across all body colors, Nottingham Green — named after Smith’s hometown — serves as a visual anchor, appearing on the mirror caps, octagonal grille, and wheel hub covers with engraved Paul Smith lettering. This same green is used on one of the roof options, with the other variant featuring Jet Black stripes in alternating matte and gloss finishes.

Design Details and Craftsmanship

Each model sits on 18-inch Night Flash Spoke alloy wheels finished in black with a tinted clear coat in Dark Steel. Redesigned MINI logos in Black Blue at the front and rear add to the edition’s clean, contemporary aesthetic. A discreet Paul Smith signature on the rear handle strip underlines the car’s bespoke origins.

The Convertible variant receives a black soft top, maintaining visual coherence across the lineup. The overall presentation balances refinement and individuality — unmistakably MINI, yet unmistakably Paul Smith.
