The 2026 MINI Countryman SE Midnight Edition joins the UK range with a fixed specification, extra standard equipment and a choice of two exterior finishes. Based on Classic trim, the special edition is offered exclusively as the electric SE ALL4 and remains eligible for the UK's £3,750 Electric Car Grant.
Orders are open now, although first customer deliveries are not expected until early 2027. The price is set at £41,645 OTR.
Indigo Sunset Blue Joins The Countryman Palette
The most obvious change is colour. Buyers can choose Midnight Black or Indigo Sunset Blue, the latter appearing on the Countryman for the first time.
Both finishes are paired with a Midnight Black roof. Sun protection glass is also standard, extending the darker treatment around the upper half of the SUV while helping improve passenger comfort.
The underlying Countryman shape remains unchanged, so the Midnight Edition retains the model's upright proportions and muscular body treatment rather than introducing unique bumpers or additional exterior panels.
18 Inch Asteroid Spoke Wheels Add Contrast
MINI fits larger 18 inch Asteroid Spoke alloy wheels as part of the fixed specification. Two finishes are available: Jet Black for a darker appearance or Vibrant Silver for stronger contrast against the bodywork.

Black And Blue Trim Shapes The Cabin
Inside, the Midnight Edition uses Vescin Black and Blue Cloth upholstery together with a dark headliner.
The equipment list includes heated front seats, wireless phone charging and a head up display. A luggage net is also fitted in the cargo compartment, a small addition aimed at keeping loose items secured while travelling.
Buyers receive four years of access to the MINI Connected Package. Its services cover real time traffic information, navigation visualisation, video streaming and connected in car applications.

The 2026 MINI Countryman SE Midnight Edition uses MINI's recently revised 64.6 kWh battery, providing up to 285 miles of WLTP electric range.
The SUV accelerates from zero to 62 mph in 5.6 seconds. MINI also confirms DC fast charging at up to 130 kW. The release does not provide motor output, torque or a charging time for the Midnight Edition, so those figures remain unspecified in the supplied material.
