AMG Night Package II, dark chrome grille detailing and 22-inch forged wheels distinguish the exterior.
The 4.0-litre V8 biturbo develops 430 kW and 850 Nm, taking the G 63 from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds.
The 2026 Mercedes Benz G 63 AMG Two Finish Edition takes a familiar G Class shape and makes the paint itself the main design feature. Only five examples are coming to Australia, each carrying a numbered MANUFAKTUR passenger grab handle to identify its place in the small production allocation.
Gloss and Matte Black Split the Body
Rather than contrasting two colors, Mercedes uses two versions of black. The greenhouse, bonnet and spare wheel cover are painted in high-gloss non-metallic black. MANUFAKTUR night black magno covers the lower body and roof, creating the visible divide between gloss and matte surfaces.
That dividing edge requires extensive hand finishing at the Graz plant. Masking alone takes several hours, and Mercedes says only one vehicle passes through the paint shop each day for the Two Finish treatment.
AMG Night Package II darkens the smaller details. There is a dark chrome AMG radiator grille, black exhaust system, black MANUFAKTUR running boards and a black spare wheel ring. Even the door handles, rear door lock cap and mirror-mounted logo projectors receive edition-specific treatment.
22 Inch Forged Wheels Fill the Square Arches
The G 63's upright body and square wheel arches remain intact. Here they are paired with 22-inch forged wheels using a five-hole design, giving the Two Finish Edition another visual distinction from the regular Australian specification.
No tire dimensions or changes to the vehicle's exterior measurements are specified in the release.
Two Tone Nappa Leather Continues Inside
The cabin follows the exterior theme with MANUFAKTUR titanium grey pearl and black upholstery. A two-tone nappa leather instrument panel sits alongside AMG carbon-fibre trim, while the AMG Performance steering wheel combines a carbon-fibre design with MICROCUT microfibre.
Each vehicle also receives a MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure passenger grab handle carrying silver “1 of 5” lettering across its carbon-fibre trim. MBUX navigation and entertainment technology and a Burmester 3D surround sound system are included.
V8 Biturbo Still Makes 430 kW
Underneath the cosmetic treatment, the familiar AMG hardware remains. The 4.0-litre V8 biturbo produces 430 kW and 850 Nm, with 0 to 100 km/h taking 4.4 seconds.
AMG DYNAMIC SELECT and adaptive damping suspension are standard, joined by three fully locking differentials for difficult terrain.
Australian pricing is $425,327 MRLP, including applicable GST and Luxury Car Tax but excluding dealer delivery and on-road costs. With only five examples allocated locally, the Two Finish Edition sits as a particularly limited specification within the Australian G 63 range.
