The 2026 Lepas AURA Concept is the brand's first concept car, presented at a preview event in China to introduce its future design language and approach to electrified mobility.
Its Leopard Aesthetics design features a long wheelbase, short overhangs, wide stance, sculpted shoulders and integrated air channels.
Signature Leopard headlamps, customisable front and rear displays and three nature-inspired exterior colours highlight the styling elements intended to influence future Lepas vehicles.
Lepas AURA Concept Introduces Leopard Aesthetics
Lepas has presented the AURA Concept in China, introducing a new design direction for its upcoming generation of vehicles. The 2026 Lepas AURA Concept is the brand's first concept car, developed around its Natural Energy philosophy and an exterior design approach called Leopard Aesthetics.
Rather than previewing a confirmed production model, AURA concentrates on proportions, surface treatment and lighting technology. The concept also explores how owners could personalise a vehicle's appearance through digital displays and exterior colours.
Black Front Fascia and Signature Leopard Headlamps
The AURA's front end introduces a black surface that visually combines the grille and side intakes into a single section.
Signature Leopard headlamps establish a recognisable lighting arrangement. According to Lepas, this treatment will help define the appearance of its future models.
The front design uses fewer separate visual elements, leaving the lighting signature and body surfaces to provide much of the vehicle's identity.
Pronounced shoulders and sculpted panels continue the design theme beyond the front fascia, while integrated air channels introduce an aerodynamic consideration.
Long Wheelbase and Wide Stance Shape the Profile
The concept takes its proportions from the movement and muscular structure of a leopard.
A long wheelbase and short overhangs create a stretched body profile, while the wide stance gives the vehicle a firmly planted appearance.
These proportions are accompanied by flowing exterior surfaces that contrast with the more pronounced shoulder sections.
Chief Designer Ivan Dulanović describes the design approach as an exploration of elegance through composure rather than additional decoration.
Customisable Exterior Lighting and Digital Graphics
One of AURA's more distinctive features is the use of customisable displays at both ends of the vehicle.
These displays are designed to incorporate personalised graphics, lighting arrangements and animations, extending exterior personalisation beyond traditional paint and trim selections.
