2026 Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido Honors Japan's Bushido Spirit
Special editions usually arrive with a different paint color or a new badge. The 2026 Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido goes in another direction.
Built exclusively for Japan, the limited-production model celebrates 25 years of Lamborghini's official presence in the country. Production is capped at just 25 individually numbered cars, and each one draws inspiration from Bushido, the traditional Japanese code associated with courage, discipline, and honor. Rather than changing the mechanical package, Lamborghini has concentrated on craftsmanship and storytelling.
Japanese Inspiration Runs Throughout The Design
The references begin before the doors even open.
Across the body, the graphics are based on elements found in samurai armour. The sharp patterns running along the doors and rear bumper are designed to resemble the movement of a katana sword, while bronze accents echo the silk cords once used to bind armour together. Even the front fascia carries a subtle historical reference, taking cues from the maedate, the crest traditionally mounted on a samurai helmet. Decorative touches on the roof and fenders continue the theme by reflecting the layered construction of armour plates.
Lamborghini has also created four exclusive specifications for the Impavido. Buyers can choose between glossy finishes such as Verde Campus and Grigio Artis Lucido or matt options including Grigio Crater and Rosso Pyra. Each color has its own connection to Japanese symbolism, while forged wheels, bronze brake calipers and dark exterior accents complete the package.
Small Details Make It Feel Different
Open the door and the same philosophy continues.
The cabin combines Nero Ade leather with Corsa Tex upholstery, highlighted by bronze stitching and bespoke embroidery across the seats, roof lining and door panels. Every car also carries an individually numbered carbon-fibre plaque marked "1 di 25." Nothing inside feels random. Each detail exists because it ties back to the edition's central theme rather than simply making the interior look different.
Performance Was Already Where Lamborghini Wanted It
Lamborghini hasn't altered the hardware underneath, and there was little reason to.
The Impavido keeps the Revuelto's naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, working alongside three electric motors and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Total output remains 1,015 CV, with power delivered through the same carbon-fibre chassis, active aerodynamics, carbon-ceramic brakes and electrified torque vectoring found in the standard car.
The numbers are unchanged too. Lamborghini quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of more than 350 km/h, placing the Impavido among the quickest production models the company has built.
For collectors, though, performance is only part of the story. The 2026 Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido exists to mark a milestone between Lamborghini and Japan, using the Revuelto as a canvas for one of the brand's most detailed Ad Personam projects. With only 25 examples planned, it is likely to remain one of the rarest interpretations of Lamborghini's first V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle.
