Hyundai Increases the Portfolio of Its N Line
Hyundai has expanded its performance-inspired sub-brand to include yet another small SUV with the 2026 Venue N Line in India. With its sleeker exterior, more luxurious interior, and a range of technology taken from larger Hyundai models, the updated Venue N Line firmly establishes itself as the sportiest iteration of Hyundai's smallest SUV.
The 2026 model improves the design, even though the Venue has been sporting the N Line badge since 2022. Hyundai's decision to retain the N Line identity on the Venue suggests that it views performance-inspired styling as crucial to its growing appeal in emerging markets.
Design: More Details and Stance
The compact proportions of the model are transformed into a more assertive shape with the new Venue N Line's more muscular and upright shape. The front fascia features a darkened grille framed by larger air intakes and “Twin Horn” daytime running lights, giving it a visual link to the Creta N Line.
New 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels hide red brake calipers, which match the red accents outlining the bumpers, skirts, and diffuser. Dual exhaust outlets are now neatly integrated within the skid plate, while a more prominent rear spoiler and body-colored fenders add visual width.
N Line badging appears on the grille, fenders, wheel caps, and tailgate — subtle reminders of its place in Hyundai’s performance family.
Interior: Tech and Texture
Inside, Hyundai has gone for a black-and-red theme that gives the Venue a more premium feel than the standard variant. Red stitching runs across the seats and dashboard, while Sunrise Red ambient lighting enhances the cabin’s visual warmth.
The steering wheel, reminiscent of the Ioniq 5 N, features paddle shifters and drive-mode selectors, while the metal pedals and N-branded leather seats underline its sporty intent.
At the top of the dashboard, dual 12.3-inch displays handle instrumentation and infotainment. The latter runs Hyundai’s latest system with NVIDIA graphics, complemented by a Bose eight-speaker sound system, built-in aroma diffuser, and Level 2 driver assistance suite.
It’s a cabin that feels more upmarket than its price segment would suggest — a recurring strength in Hyundai’s latest global lineup.
Engine and Dynamics
Mechanically, the Venue N Line remains familiar. It continues with the 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 118 hp and 172 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels through either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
While Hyundai hasn’t detailed specific suspension revisions, the car likely retains the N Line’s sport-tuned chassis calibration from its predecessor — a setup that provided slightly firmer damping and quicker steering response.
