Design and Exterior Features

Hyundai crafts the NHL Edition Palisade Hybrid to be visually striking and unmistakably tied to its Canadian fan base. The exterior uses a matte “Creamy White” finish, unique to this edition. It rides on 21-inch alloy wheels that include center caps featuring the purchaser’s chosen NHL team logo.

Other exterior features include a dual-pane (or dual-pane / panoramic) sunroof, matte touches for contrast, and standard lighting upgrades consistent with the Ultimate Calligraphy trim. There are also Luxwood door sill plates. The overall design signals luxury and exclusivity.

Powertrain, Hybrid Efficiency and Towing

Under the hood, the Palisade Hybrid NHL Edition uses a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor system. Total output is 329 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque. Fuel consumption is certified at 8.1 L per 100 km.

The hybrid version can tow up to 4,000 pounds. The non-hybrid V6 version of the Palisade has a higher towing capacity (≈5,000 lbs), but that option is not available for this NHL Edition.

Interior, Comfort, and Unique NHL-Themed Touches

Inside, the NHL Edition is built on the Ultimate Calligraphy Hybrid base, bringing its highest level of interior refinement. Seats are upholstered in Grey Charcoal Nappa leather, a first for Palisade in combination with select NHL branding. There are special floor mats, cargo tray, door sills, and floor liners that can be personalized with NHL team logos.

Comfort features include heated and ventilated front seats, ventilated second-row captain’s chairs, advanced driver’s seat (Ergo-Motion) with relaxation functions (leg rest & recline), heated leather steering wheel, ambient lighting, and a head-up display. A 14-speaker Bose premium audio system is standard. Technology includes a digital instrument cluster (~12.3-inch), a similarly sized infotainment screen, wireless charging, built-in dashcams (front / rear), digital rearview mirror, and other driver assistance features.

Hyundai positions the NHL Edition as a collector or fan vehicle, both limited and premium. Only 500 units will be produced. It is sold exclusively in Canada.

The NHL Edition starts at CAD $68,899, before a freight & PDI charge of about CAD $2,100. It is based on the Ultimate Calligraphy Hybrid trim, which already sits at the top of the Palisade line in terms of features. This pricing places it above standard hybrid trims.
