The 1-of-1 American Hypercar

Unveiled at The Quail, Monterey Car Week 2025, the Venom F5-LF-Manual represents a radical new chapter for Hennessey. Commissioned by American entrepreneur Louis Florey, the car was designed in collaboration with Hennessey’s newly established Maverick division, a bespoke program for ultra-exclusive builds.

This singular F5, finished in Cocoa Brown exposed carbon fiber with River Sand Metallic accents, is described as Hennessey’s most personal and analog creation to date.

Engineering the Manual F5

At its core, the LF debuts an all-new carbon fiber monocoque (XCell_2) designed to improve stiffness, ergonomics, and accommodate a third pedal. The highlight is a gated six-speed manual transmission—milled from solid aluminum—paired with the firm’s 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 Fury engine, delivering 2,031 bhp.

Supporting this is the Evolution aerodynamic package, previewing updates coming to the wider Venom F5 lineup. It features a redesigned splitter, dive planes, fender louvres, taller rear wing, and new rear deck with an integrated spoiler. Combined with suspension upgrades, these revisions improve downforce and handling stability at extreme speeds.

Inside the Driver-Centric Cockpit

The interior abandons digital excess for mechanical precision. The H-pattern shifter dominates the new console layout, while every switch and toggle has been reengineered with horology-grade detailing. Controls absorb ambient light and emit a soft glow at night, reinforcing the car’s focus on analog engagement.

Pedals are machined from aluminum with laser-etched Hennessey logos, now floor-mounted for better geometry. Even the parking brake lever was designed with a bolt-action feel. The result is a cabin that balances craftsmanship with purpose-built functionality.

The Maverick Division

The LF is the launch project for Maverick, a customer commission arm aimed at personalized hypercars. Under this program, clients can work directly with Hennessey’s team to define everything from carbon finishes and mechanical upgrades to interior layouts and paintwork.
