2026 GMC Yukon Denali Signature Black

Onyx Black paint combines with Black Vader Chrome trim and 24 inch black wheels.
The seven seat cabin gains second row Captain’s Chairs and a power sliding console.
A 6.2 litre EcoTec3 V8 produces 313kW and 624Nm with a 10 speed automatic.
The 2026 GMC Yukon Denali Signature Black is a locally specified special edition developed for Australia and New Zealand, taking the full size Yukon Denali and applying an extensive black exterior treatment. It also brings a revised seven seat cabin layout and keeps the existing V8, four wheel drive and towing hardware.
Australian pricing is $181,490, while New Zealand pricing is $193,490. Both figures include GST but exclude on road costs.
Onyx Black Extends Across The Body
The Signature Black starts with Onyx Black exterior paint, but the treatment goes considerably further. Its grille, grille surround, front fascia accents, side mouldings and lower rear fascia accents are finished in Black Vader Chrome.
Black exterior badging, a gloss black hood moulding and gloss black roof luggage rails continue the theme. Australian versions also receive an illuminated GMC emblem within the grille.
The most obvious change in stance comes from the 24 inch black accessory wheels. Against the Yukon's already substantial full size SUV proportions, they give the Signature Black a visually heavier footprint without altering the basic Denali bodywork.
Captain’s Chairs Create A Seven Seat Cabin
Inside, the standard specification switches to a seven seat layout with second row Captain’s Chairs. Jet Black perforated leather appointed upholstery keeps the dark theme going, while both front and rear occupants get heated seats. The front pair are ventilated.
A new power sliding centre console adds flexibility between the front seats, and tri zone automatic climate control is standard.
Technology is centred around a 16.8 inch infotainment touchscreen, supported by wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is also a 15 inch multicolour head up display, wireless phone charging and a Bose 14 speaker surround sound system.
Rear passengers get dual 12.6 inch colour touchscreens and two GMC branded wireless headphones.
6.2 Litre V8 Produces 313kW
There is no special engine tune for the Signature Black. Power comes from GM's 6.2 litre EcoTec3 V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management, producing 313kW and 624Nm.
A 10 speed automatic transmission sends power through the Active Response 4WD system. Air Ride Adaptive four corner suspension works alongside Magnetic Ride Control, giving the large SUV an electronically managed suspension setup.
Towing Capacity Reaches 3,628kg
The blacked out appearance has not changed the Yukon's practical brief. A two speed transfer case and electronic limited slip differential are retained, along with Trailer Sway Control and an integrated trailer brake controller.
Maximum braked towing capacity is 3,628kg when fitted with the appropriate weight distribution hitch. A 360 degree HD camera system provides up to 11 views, including Hitch Guidance with Hitch View.
Rather than creating a mechanically separate Yukon variant, the Signature Black concentrates on exterior detailing, cabin configuration and equipment while retaining the Denali's established V8 and four wheel drive hardware.
