2026 Geely Galaxy V900

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • The Galaxy V900 is a mid-to-large MPV offering 6-, 7-, or 8-seat layouts and a range-extended powertrain.

  • CLTC-rated pure electric range reaches up to 260 km, with a combined range of up to 1,220 km.

  • Lidar-equipped H5 assisted driving and an advanced Flyme Auto 2 cockpit anchor its positioning.

A Launch Timed for the Premium MPV Segment

The 2026 Geely Galaxy V900 is scheduled to officially launch on January 20, following the start of pre-sales earlier this month. Three variants are on offer, priced from 319,800 to 389,800 yuan, positioning the V900 firmly in China’s increasingly competitive premium MPV space. Offered with 6-, 7-, or 8-seat configurations, the V900 is framed as a long-distance, technology-led people mover rather than a traditional shuttle.

Exterior Design Focused on Presence and Identity

Visually, the Galaxy V900 leans into scale and symbolism. The front fascia features a continuous “starry sky” light signature paired with a large chrome grille. At its center sits an exclusive 24K gold Pegasus emblem, a detail clearly intended to signal status. Split headlights are concealed within wave-like body surfacing, while deep side intakes add depth to the otherwise upright face. A roof-mounted lidar sensor sits prominently above the windscreen, making no attempt to hide the vehicle’s assisted-driving ambitions.

At the rear, X-shaped taillights stretch across the width and integrate a smart driving indicator light. With significant dimensions of 5,360 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and up to 1,940 mm in height, along with a 3,200 mm wheelbase, the overall stance is lofty and commanding. Five exterior colors are offered, including Starry Silver, Moonlight White, and Aurora Green.

A Cabin Built Around Screens and Comfort

Inside, the V900 adopts a lounge-like approach. Two interior themes, Dawn Beige and Sunset Orange, frame a dashboard dominated by a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch instrument display, and a 19.8-inch AR head-up display. The system runs Flyme Auto 2 and is powered by a Snapdragon 8295P chip. A 9.2-inch streaming rearview mirror comes as standard.

Second-row passengers are given particular attention. A 17.3-inch entertainment screen is mounted ahead, while a 5.98-inch control screen is integrated into the armrest. Four 50W air-cooled wireless chargers are distributed throughout the cabin, underscoring the V900’s focus on device-heavy, long-distance use.

Range-Extended Power With Chassis Sophistication

Power comes from a range-extended setup combining a 1.5T engine with dual electric motors. Total system output is rated at 340 kW and 523 Nm. Two battery options, 43.3 kWh and 50 kWh, deliver CLTC pure electric ranges of 220 km and 260 km respectively. With a full tank and charged battery, combined range reaches 1,180 km or 1,220 km.

Ride comfort is addressed through CCD electromagnetic damping, air suspension, and an active “magic carpet” system capable of responding in 20 milliseconds with up to 50 adjustments per second. The air suspension offers a 65 mm adjustment range across five height settings.

Assisted Driving and Market Positioning

The V900 is equipped with the Qianli Haohan H5 assisted driving solution, using NVIDIA Orin-series chips and 27 sensors, including lidar. Highway and city NOA functions are supported nationwide. For Geely’s Galaxy brand, the V900 positions itself as a technology-forward flagship MPV, aimed at buyers prioritizing range, comfort, and visible innovation in equal measure.
