2026 Ferrari Amalfi

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • The 2026 Ferrari Amalfi revives the front-engine 2+ grand-tourer formula with a sharpened design, 640 cv twin-turbo V8, and active rear wing.

  • It boosts output to 640 cv (471 kW) and 760 Nm torque, sprinting from 0–100 km/h in about 3.3 s, with a top speed of 320 km/h.

  • A more pared‑back interior returns physical buttons, adds a new horizontal touchscreen layout, and refines usability over its Roma predecessor.

Design That Moves Even When Parked

The 2026 Ferrari Amalfi starts with presence. It shares basic Roma dimensions—4,660 mm long, 1,974 mm wide, and a 2,670 mm wheelbase—but every panel feels fresh. A new shark-nose front end bears slimmer headlights tied by a clean black bar, replacing Roma’s busier grille. The haunches on 20-inch wheels look punchier, and that active rear wing isn’t just for show—it lifts subtly, offering aerodynamic grip without shouting.

Balanced Execution, Sporting Stance

The proportions stay classic 2+ Ferrari but feel more assertive. Side surfaces are sleek, with crisp edges and tailored curves. The stance is lower, more planted. There's a sense that Ferrari hasn’t exaggerated—no overdone scoops or artificially widened hips. Instead, finesse dominates: modern GT aesthetics honed for drivers who care about detail.

Brutal, but Refined Under the Skin

The Amalfi’s new version of the F154 twin-turbo V8 pulls hard— 640 cv and 760 Nm. It hits 0–100 km/h in around 3.3 s, and tops out at about 320 km/h. Those extra horses come from lighter camshafts, faster-spooling turbos, and a new ECU from Ferrari’s hybrid models . It’s visceral, responsive, and tuned to feel alive even at low revs.

Interiors That Speak to the Driver

Inside, Ferrari walks back the touchy Roma interface. Real buttons return—physical Manettino, titanium start button, conventional switchgear. Screens are bigger: a 10.25″ central infotainment flanked by a 15.6″ driver display and 8″ passenger screen. Materials feel richer—carbon trim, trimmed leather, Burmester audio optional—but Ferrari keeps it focused, not flashy.

Tech You Can Feel, Not Flaunt

Underneath: brake-by-wire, ABS Evo, SSC 6.1 traction logic, upgraded electric power steering and active aero. The active wing adds around 110 kg of downforce at 250 km/h with minimal drag impact. These systems aren’t bullet-points—they translate into polished, usable grip on B-roads and highways alike.

GT With Global Context

Priced from about €240,000 in Italy and around $275,000 in the US, the Amalfi slots between rivals like the Aston Martin DB12 and Porsche 911 Turbo, offering more practicality in a 2+ space and a bit more drama . Compared to EV-focused GT vehicles, it offers purity—a visceral, mechanical experience that echoes yet moves past Roma’s debut.
