2026 DS F3ver Concept

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • The 2026 DS F3ver Concept debuts at the Paris Motor Show with a compact 4.19 meter body, sculpted surfaces and a 2.70 meter wheelbase.

  • Distinctive features include Y shaped front lighting, Cosmic Blue paint that shifts toward violet, and rear lights featuring 16 LED panels.

  • The electric concept offers a 400 liter boot and explores new approaches to personalization.

DS F3ver Concept Brings a Different Look to Paris

The 2026 DS F3ver Concept has arrived at the Paris Motor Show, giving an indication of where DS Automobiles plans to take its design language. Developed entirely by the brand's own design teams, the concept is less about previewing a particular production car and more about testing ideas that could shape future models.

There is a noticeable change in proportions. The F3ver has a relatively low roof, a broad body and sharply defined surfaces, giving it a stance that feels closer to a sporty hatchback than a traditional SUV [Inference].

DS has also made personalization a central part of the design, extending it beyond paint colors to individual body elements and lighting.

Compact Dimensions With a Wide and Low Stance

At 4,190 mm long, 1,840 mm wide and 1,460 mm tall, the F3ver occupies a relatively compact footprint. Its 2,700 mm wheelbase takes up a substantial portion of that length, leaving the body with short overhangs and a planted appearance.

The front is probably the most recognizable part of the design. A vertical central element carries the DS badge, while Y shaped lighting elements extend outward on either side.

Headlights and daytime running lights are combined into a single assembly. DS has also removed separate plastic extensions around the wheel arches, allowing the body surfaces to flow without additional trim pieces.

Around the back, the treatment is quite different. A digital DS logo sits centrally, surrounded by lighting elements that create an unusual depth effect.

The rear lamps contain 16 LED panels, supported by a lightweight magnesium structure inspired by the roof architecture of the Grand Palais in Paris.

Cosmic Blue Paint Changes With the Light

DS developed a specific Cosmic Blue finish for the F3ver. Under changing light, the paint moves between brighter blue and darker violet shades, making the curvature of the panels more apparent.

The two tone treatment extends beyond the roof, continuing around the rear lighting, tailgate and bumper.

There is also a customizable ring around the roofline, intended to give owners another way of distinguishing the exterior.

Even the wheels receive special attention, with geometric detailing, champagne colored accents and a fine Clous de Paris pattern.

A 400 Liter Boot Adds Everyday Practicality

Despite its compact dimensions, the F3ver has been designed with usable interior space in mind.

The 2.70 meter wheelbase is intended to provide comfortable passenger accommodation, while the 400 liter luggage compartment gives the concept a practical side.

DS has not released detailed information about the dashboard, seating arrangement or interior technology, so much of the cabin remains undisclosed.

Electric Technology and the Future of DS

The F3ver is described as an exploration of future DS electric vehicles, with an emphasis on range, comfort and everyday usability.

Specific battery capacity, motor output, charging figures and driving range have not been confirmed.

Another important part of the project is what DS calls Design Intelligence. The approach focuses on using fewer components, reducing visible assembly lines and simplifying exterior construction without compromising the intended design.
