The FKP Hommage is a one-off Programme Solitaire creation honoring the original Veyron and its visionary creator, Ferdinand Karl Piëch.
It uses the most advanced evolution of Bugatti’s W16 platform, delivering 1,600 hp.

A Personal Tribute Anchored in Bugatti History
The 2026 Bugatti FKP Hommage is not positioned as a successor or a preview of what comes next. Instead, it stands as a reflection. Created as the second commission under Bugatti’s Programme Solitaire, the FKP Hommage honors both the Veyron and the man whose ambition made it possible, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Piëch. It is a one-off automobile conceived to mark the Veyron’s impact on the modern automotive landscape, and to revisit its defining ideas with the benefit of twenty years of engineering evolution.
Revisiting the Veyron’s Unusual Confidence
When the Veyron first appeared, its design resisted the aggressive wedge shapes common at the time. It leaned back, composed and self-assured. The FKP Hommage retains that same posture. The overall posture prioritizes balance over drama, the cabin sits solidly between the axles, and the belt line lowers gently. Instead of being created from scratch, every surface has been improved. Now three-dimensional and machined from a solid block of aluminum, the recognizable horseshoe grille flows more organically into the surrounding bodywork. The well-known air intakes and ducts are still present, but they have been modified to feed a far more potent engine.
Color, Material, and Visual Depth
Paint technology plays a quiet but important role in the FKP Hommage. A deep red exterior finish is achieved through layered coatings, beginning with a silver aluminum base beneath a red-tinted clear coat. The result is a sense of depth that changes as light moves across the car. Exposed carbon fiber is finished with a black-tinted clear coat rather than paint, adding visual texture and subtle contrast. Updated wheel sizes, 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, improve both stance and proportion while accommodating the latest Michelin tire technology.
A Mature Expression of W16 Performance
Beneath the surface, the FKP Hommage represents the highest evolution of Bugatti’s W16 platform. The quad-turbocharged engine produces 1,600 hp, using hardware first introduced in the Chiron Super Sport. Larger turbochargers, enhanced intercooling, upgraded cooling systems, and a reinforced dual-clutch gearbox allow the drivetrain to manage its increased output. The result is a specification that reflects the full arc of W16 development, rather than a single technological leap.
Interior Craft Driven by Personal Vision
Inside, the FKP Hommage departs more dramatically from recent Bugatti interiors. The tunnel and center console are machined from solid aluminum blocks, and a round, Bauhaus-inspired steering wheel pays homage to the original Veyron. Beyond leather, custom textiles woven in Paris add another level of customisation. An Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon, which is integrated as a useful clock and powered mechanically by the vehicle itself, is located in the middle of the dashboard. It displays the client's direct involvement and the flexibility that Programme Solitaire provides.
Positioning Within Bugatti’s Bespoke Future
The FKP Hommage joins the Brouillard as the second expression of Programme Solitaire, through which Bugatti creates up to two bespoke vehicles per year. It does not seek to replace the Veyron in memory or meaning. Instead, it refines it, calmly and deliberately, as a final, definitive statement.
