2026 Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure
By Lorenzo Bianchi August 12, 2025
The 2026 Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure stretches the G-Class into an extended six-wheel format with massive ground clearance and off-road hardware.
Powered by an 800 hp twin-turbo V8, it hits 100 km/h in under six seconds despite its size.
Handcrafted interior merges leather, Dinamica, and carbon fiber for an upscale but rugged cabin.
A Six-Wheeled Statement
The 2026 Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure isn’t here to blend in. Built from the bones of the Mercedes-AMG G63, the SUV gains a stretched ladder-frame chassis, a third axle, and portal gear hubs at every corner. The result is a vehicle that stands well over two meters tall and more than six meters long, its stance dominating the press photos. Brabus has widened the body with the Widestar kit, bolted on carbon wheel arches, and fitted a heavy-duty bed at the rear—part pickup, part luxury yacht deck.
Proportions and Presence
Viewed from head-on, the grille sits higher than most SUVs’ rooflines, flanked by widened LED-lit fenders. The front bumper integrates a winch and a carbon-fiber skid plate. In profile, the extra axle and elongated bed shift the visual balance; the G-Class’s usual upright posture now feels more like a purposeful march forward. Portal axles push ground clearance to around 47 cm, and the 325/55 R22 all-terrain tires fill every inch of those arches. It’s hard to call this subtle—it’s not trying to be.
Power and Performance
Under the hood, the familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 has been reworked to deliver 800 hp (588 kW) and 1,000 Nm of torque. The nine-speed automatic gearbox sends power to all six wheels, launching the truck to 100 km/h in about 5.8 seconds. Brabus caps the top speed at 210 km/h—plenty when you’re hauling nearly four tons of machinery and leather.
Cabin as Craft
Inside, Brabus’s Masterpiece interior treatment covers almost every surface. Black leather and Dinamica microfiber are quilted in the brand’s Dual Cube pattern, stitched in red. Carbon-fiber accents run across the dash, console, and even the paddle shifters. Every metal switch, handle, and trim piece looks custom-machined. The cabin may feel like a private jet, but you’re still surrounded by grab handles and robust controls—reminders this is meant to leave the pavement.
Market Position
There’s no direct rival to a build like this. The AMG G63 6x6 is long gone from Mercedes’ own lineup, and the only competition comes from equally rare, coachbuilt creations. Pricing sits well into seven figures in euros, aimed at clients who want exclusivity as much as capability.
The 2026 Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure is as much a spectacle as it is a machine. Six wheels, triple axles, and 800 horsepower create a presence that’s impossible to ignore—and for the handful who will own one, that’s entirely the point.
