A Darker Take on the Continental GT Speed
The 2026 Brabus 900 Superblack Continental GT Speed presents itself as a restrained but unmistakably assertive evolution of Bentley’s grand tourer. In press images, the Superblack treatment suppresses visual noise. Gloss and matte carbon elements replace chrome, while the coupe’s proportions remain intact—long bonnet, tight cabin, and a wide rear track that reads purposeful rather than decorative.
Brabus-developed carbon components reshape the front fascia with a deeper splitter and sculpted intakes designed to manage airflow to the radiators and brakes. At the rear, an exposed-carbon spoiler and diffuser frame four carbon-sheathed titanium tailpipes. The overall effect is subtle from a distance, aggressive up close. The lowering module drops ride height by roughly 20 mm, tightening the stance without upsetting the Continental’s long-distance brief.
Hybrid V8 Performance with Brabus Calibration
At the heart of the Superblack sits Bentley’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 hybrid, comprehensively reworked by Brabus. A bespoke forced-induction system, including larger high-performance turbochargers and a carbon intake airbox, lifts the combustion engine to 710 hp and 900 Nm. Combined with the standard 190 hp electric motor, total system output reaches 900 hp and 1,100 Nm.
Power is sent through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Performance figures are decisive: 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h for the coupe. The hybrid system also preserves electric driving capability, with an electric range quoted at up to 80 km (EAER), positioning the Superblack as both ferociously quick and surprisingly flexible for urban use.
A stainless-steel Brabus exhaust with active valves offers two distinct characters. One mode remains subdued for residential driving, while the sport setting releases a more pronounced V8 note, clearly audible in the development notes.
Wheels, Chassis and Road Presence
Brabus fits its Monoblock ZM Platinum Edition wheels, forged and CNC-machined specifically for the Continental GT. The 22-inch setup—10J front and 11.5J rear—wears staggered performance tyres that visually fill the arches and enhance lateral grip. Brabus notes improvements in stability and handling, aided by the revised suspension geometry and lower centre of gravity.
These changes sharpen responses without reworking the Continental’s fundamental GT character. The Superblack remains a high-speed cruiser first, with added edge rather than stripped-back comfort.
Masterpiece Interior in Total Black
Inside, the Superblack name is literal. The cabin is trimmed entirely in deep black Brabus leather, stitched and perforated in the brand’s Shell quilting pattern. Carbon elements span the dashboard, centre console and door sills, while illuminated Brabus logos greet occupants on entry.
Details matter here: anodised aluminium pedals, a bespoke dashboard clock, and embossed Double-B logos reinforce the sense of a one-off commission rather than a tuner package. The luggage compartment receives matching leather treatment, continuing the theme beyond the cabin.
Positioning as a Brabus Masterpiece
Priced at €489,200 before tax, the Brabus 900 Superblack sits firmly in the ultra-luxury performance niche. It is neither a replacement for Bentley’s own Speed nor a limited-run hypercar. Instead, it functions as a statement—British grand touring reinterpreted through Brabus’ lens of power, precision and bespoke craft. For buyers seeking exclusivity without abandoning everyday usability, its appeal is clear.
