A Familiar Urus Shape Taken Further
The 2026 Brabus 900 Urus SE begins with a silhouette that is already dramatic, but Brabus has pushed it decisively beyond factory intent. Based on the Lamborghini Urus SE, the SUV gains the full WIDESTAR carbon-fiber aerodynamic program, widening the body and visually lowering the center of mass. The surfaces are sharper, the edges more pronounced, and the overall stance reads heavier and more deliberate.
Carbon fiber dominates the exterior treatment, whether left exposed in the SUPERBLACK specification or painted body color on the MINT version. The front fascia is reshaped with larger air intakes and added downforce at the front axle, while the rear diffuser and roof spoiler complete a form that feels engineered rather than styled. Large 24-inch Brabus Monoblock Z “Platinum Edition” forged wheels fill the arches with little visual breathing room, reinforcing the sense of excess that defines the project.
Hybrid V8 Performance with Brabus Calibration
Under the skin, Brabus focuses on the combustion side of the Urus SE’s hybrid system. The 4.0-liter biturbo V8 receives the Brabus PowerXtra LG40-900 upgrade, while the electric motor remains unchanged. Together, the system delivers a combined output of 662 kW, equivalent to 900 hp, and a peak system torque of 1,050 Nm.
The Brabus 900 Urus SE reaches 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, with top speed electronically limited to 312 km/h. The numbers place it firmly in supercar territory despite its mass and ride height. Brabus notes that the tire configuration necessitates the speed limiter, a reminder that this is still an SUV wrestling with physics.
Interior Craftsmanship as a Defining Feature
Inside, Brabus treats the cabin as a showcase of its Masterpiece program. Every surface is retrimmed in-house, with distinct personalities separating the two specifications. The MINT version adopts exclusive “Stone Mint” leather, coordinated precisely with its exterior color, creating a cabin that feels intentional rather than decorative. The SUPERBLACK, by contrast, relies on black leather and Alcantara, punctuated by exposed carbon fiber for a more restrained, motorsport-inspired atmosphere.
Signature Brabus “Ellipse” quilting runs across seats, floor, and luggage compartment, while aluminum pedals, illuminated entry sills, and subtle branding complete the environment. The result is immersive without feeling ornamental, a space clearly built around craftsmanship rather than novelty.
Positioning at the Top of the Hybrid SUV Segment
The Brabus 900 Urus SE made its world debut at the FAT Ice Race 2026 in Austria, an intentionally theatrical setting that underscored its dual nature as both luxury object and performance machine. Pricing reflects its exclusivity. The Brabus 900 MINT is listed at €498,000, while the SUPERBLACK undercuts it slightly at €439,000, both before VAT.
With this program, Brabus formally enters Lamborghini-based supercars for the first time. In a market where hybrid performance SUVs are increasingly common, the Brabus 900 Urus SE positions itself above rivals through scale, material depth, and sheer output, appealing to buyers who see restraint as optional.
