2026 BMW X3 M50 xDrive Black Package G45

Black Package adds 22 inch Polygon 1134 M Black wheels and black exterior details.
Alcantara, blue stitching and CraftedClarity glass distinguish the updated cabin.
The 3.0 litre mild hybrid straight six rises by 45 hp to 443 hp.
The 2026 BMW X3 M50 xDrive Black Package G45 gives BMW's M Performance SUV a darker factory treatment inside and out, arriving alongside a useful increase in straight six power.
BMW says the package becomes available from December 2026 and is exclusive to the X3 M50 xDrive.
Black Details Change The X3 M50
BMW has kept the Black Package relatively focused. M logos and model badges receive a high gloss black finish with silver outlines, while the M Sport brake calipers are also finished in high gloss black. A monochrome M logo sits on each caliper.
The package does not introduce different bumpers or additional aerodynamic bodywork in the supplied material. Its exterior changes are centred around darker trim, badges, brakes and wheels.
22 Inch Polygon Wheels Fill The Arches
The most noticeable addition is a set of 22 inch Polygon 1134 M Black light alloy wheels. They add an inch to the X3 M50 xDrive's existing tyre portfolio, with other M light alloy wheel designs remaining available as options.
BMW does not provide revised dimensions, ride height or tyre sizes for the Black Package. There is also no indication of a suspension change tied specifically to the option.
Alcantara Covers More Of The Cabin
The interior receives a more substantial makeover. Black BMW Individual Alcantara covers sections of the driver's instrument panel, the area ahead of the central display and the inductive smartphone charging tray. It also appears on the door trims and centre armrest.
Black Alcantara and Veganza seats gain blue stitching and piping, while M logos are embossed into the headrests. Black floor mats continue the blue piping and carry an M colour flag.
Selected controls receive BMW Individual CraftedClarity glass, and the M steering wheel gets a leather airbag impact absorber. An M aluminium carbon structure trim is also included.
Straight Six Output Climbs To 443 HP
The mechanical update is separate from the Black Package. Every updated X3 M50 xDrive benefits from an extra 33 kW, or 45 hp.
Its 3.0 litre M TwinPower Turbo straight six with 48 volt mild hybrid technology now produces 326 kW or 443 hp. BMW quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, dropping to 4.1 seconds when measured using the one foot rollout method.
The engine also complies with Euro 7 requirements.
Wider X3 Updates Arrive In December
Other X3 variants receive cabin changes at the same time, including revised instrument panel stitching, ambient lighting for the centre storage compartment and inner door handles, and a redesigned glovebox opener.
For the M50 xDrive, however, the Black Package sits as a separate appearance option. The extra 45 hp is not dependent on choosing it, allowing buyers to take the performance upgrade with or without the darker specification.
