Bentley Creates A Chalet On Wheels
The 2026 Bentley Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition is probably one of the more unusual collaborations Bentley has attempted in recent years. Not because of the vehicle itself, but because of the personality behind it.
Developed alongside social media figure The Gstaad Guy, the special Bentayga EWB aims to translate the atmosphere of a high-end Alpine retreat into automotive form. Bentley’s Mulliner division handled the bespoke execution, while the overall concept was shaped around the understated luxury aesthetic that The Gstaad Guy has built his online identity around.
And surprisingly, it works better than expected.
Rather than turning the Bentayga into another aggressively personalized one-off, the Chalet Edition focuses almost entirely on warmth, texture, and restraint. The result feels more like a carefully designed private lounge than a traditional ultra-luxury SUV.
Exterior Details Stay Deliberately Subtle
Visually, the Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition avoids obvious extravagance.
The exterior is finished in bespoke Light Tudor Grey paint, applied by hand over approximately 60 hours. In official photos, the muted tone gives the large SUV a softer and more architectural appearance compared with Bentley’s brighter Mulliner commissions.
Bronze-painted exterior detailing adds some contrast without disrupting the restrained aesthetic. A Fireglow pinstripe accent runs along the lower trim sections, while discreet Chalet Edition badging appears on the front wings and treadplates.
The proportions of the extended-wheelbase Bentayga already suit this sort of luxury-focused concept fairly well. The longer rear cabin section naturally emphasizes passenger comfort and chauffeur-style usability rather than outright performance, even though the Bentayga platform remains extremely capable dynamically.
There is also an optional set of bespoke Saddle leather boot protectors featuring Alpine embroidery. Bentley says they are designed equally for ski trips or coastal travel, which feels perfectly aligned with the Chalet Edition’s lifestyle positioning.
The Interior Becomes The Main Event
Inside is where the Chalet Edition separates itself from a standard Bentayga EWB.
The cabin uses four individual comfort seats together with a rear center console layout focused on long-distance relaxation. Bentley says the seats are engineered specifically to reduce fatigue during extended journeys.
The material choices are the real story, though.
Rich Saddle leather is paired with tweed detailing, diamond quilting, and Liquid Amber open-pore wood veneers to create a warmer and more tactile atmosphere than many modern luxury interiors. Fireglow accents appear subtly throughout the cabin, while Saddle-colored speaker grilles house the Naim for Bentley audio system.
There are also small personalized touches tied directly to The Gstaad Guy collaboration. His emblem appears through discreet badging and laser-etched detailing, while an Alpine flower motif is embroidered onto the headrests and cushions in red and green stitching.
Animated welcome lamps complete the experience when entering the vehicle.
More Atmosphere Than Performance
Interestingly, Bentley says very little about outright performance in the Chalet Edition release.
That feels intentional. The focus here is clearly atmosphere rather than acceleration numbers or technical upgrades. The Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition exists less as a performance flagship and more as a rolling interpretation of quiet luxury.
And honestly, that restraint may be what makes it stand out most.
In a luxury market increasingly crowded with louder and more attention-seeking special editions, the Chalet Edition feels unusually calm.
