2026 Alpine A110 R Ultime
By Lorenzo Bianchi November 5, 2025
The 2026 Alpine A110 R Ultime is the most powerful A110 ever, delivering up to 345 hp.
Production is limited to 110 units, with 15 “La Bleue” editions handcrafted in Dieppe.
Features bespoke aerodynamics, adjustable suspension, and Atelier Sur-Mesure customisation.
A Farewell with Purpose
The 2026 Alpine A110 R Ultime isn’t just another special edition. It’s a curtain call — a distilled finale for a car that redefined Alpine’s modern identity since its 2017 return. Revealed at the Paris Motor Show, the R Ultime takes the A110’s lightweight ethos and stretches it into something almost defiant: a road-legal machine honed to the limit of physics.
Limited to 110 examples, this is the last and most extreme evolution of the A110 lineage. Alpine calls it “a race car for the road,” and the numbers back that up. With 345 horsepower from its 1.8-litre turbocharged engine running on 102-octane fuel and a curb weight of 1,100 kg, it posts a 0–100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h
Aerodynamics and Mechanical Precision
The A110 R Ultime wears its function like armour. Every vent, curve, and winglet serves a measurable purpose. Alpine’s engineers reworked airflow across the car, yielding 100 kg of total downforce at 275 km/h — enough to keep the front end planted through high-speed bends. Adjustable rear wing angles (up to +6°) allow setup variations for specific tracks, from the Nürburgring to Magny-Cours
Underneath, the car rides on Ohlins TTX dampers derived from the GT4 race car, with fully adjustable compression, rebound, and ride height. Michelin PS Cup 2 tyres, bespoke to this variant, grip 18-inch front and 19-inch rear forged wheels. Grooved 330 mm Brembo discs and recalibrated ABS and ESP ensure the car’s road legality doesn’t dull its intent.
The result is not a softened sports car but a tool built for precision driving — one that Alpine test driver Laurent Hurgon describes as “flat, immediate, and endlessly adjustable.”
Design and Customisation
At first glance, the Ultime looks understated, but the details tell another story. Carbon components dominate the bodywork, including the bonnet, roof, and diffuser. Inside, the cabin is stripped yet artistic — Alcantara and lightweight Sabelt® bucket seats meet bespoke Poltrona Frau® leather trim, reflecting a new dimension of luxury in Alpine’s engineering-focused world.
The Atelier Sur-Mesure program gives each buyer three hours of co-design time with Alpine’s Color & Trim team, turning the car into a one-off creation. Fifteen examples, known as “La Bleue,” showcase Alpine’s craftsmanship with a hand-painted gradient in two shades of blue — Bleu Abysse and Bleu Alpine
A Legacy Honed to Perfection
Priced from €265,000, the A110 R Ultime is more than a send-off. It’s a statement of continuity — proof that Alpine’s obsession with lightness and balance still defines its future, even as the brand turns fully electric with the upcoming A290 and A390.
In the age of silence and electrons, the 2026 Alpine A110 R Ultime is a last mechanical sonata — a car that doesn’t just conclude an era but perfects it.
