2026 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collezione

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • Limited to 63 units globally with Instant Classic certification.

  • Features Rosso Collezione Stelvio, a new shade inspired by Rosso Villa d’Este.

  • Powered by the 520-hp 2.9-liter V6 with standard Akrapovič exhaust.

A Color and Stance Shaped by Heritage

The 2026 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collezione arrives as one half of a tightly curated pair, developed to honor the Quadrifoglio’s first appearance on a road-legal Alfa Romeo back in 1963. For the Stelvio, the defining element is its dedicated Rosso Collezione Stelvio paintwork. The color reads brighter in tone than the Giulia variant, reflecting light across the SUV’s larger surfaces with more openness and depth. In the press photos, the finish carries a subtle shift depending on the angle, a trait inherited from the 33 Stradale’s Rosso Villa d’Este.

The stance remains typically Stelvio: short overhangs, sharp wheel arch definition, and a roofline that falls away just enough to avoid the upright feel common in performance SUVs. The Collezione-specific carbon-fiber roof adds a darker, more technical layer to the upper section, visually separating it from the red bodywork. Carbon fiber also appears on the front badge, mirror caps, the dashboard, and the central tunnel, tying the theme together without overwhelming the design.

Performance Anchored by the 520-hp V6

Under the bonnet sits the familiar 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6, rated at 520 hp, the full output confirmed directly in the release. The standard Akrapovič exhaust gives the Stelvio Collezione a distinctive tone, sharpening its response and marking this edition as a final celebration of the combustion-era Quadrifoglio powertrain.

A carbon-ceramic braking system is standard, recognizable by burnished calipers with the Alfa Romeo script in red. Official materials do not include 0–100 km/h figures or top-speed data.

Interior Details and Collezione Numbering

Inside, the cabin leans heavily toward tactile materials. The dashboard is upholstered in leather with red stitching, and the seats combine leather and Alcantara. Sparco buckets with exposed carbon shells are a key visual anchor and contribute to the car’s limited-series identity. Each unit carries embroidered numbering — “1 di 63 Collezione” through the final example — making provenance explicit rather than implied. Door panels and the center armrest continue the leather theme, helping to warm the otherwise technical atmosphere created by the carbon trim.

Historical Positioning for a Performance SUV

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collezione joins its Giulia counterpart as a tribute series reflecting Alfa Romeo’s performance lineage. Production is capped at 63 units, a direct reference to the Giulia Ti Super of 1963, the first road-going Alfa Romeo to wear the Quadrifoglio badge. The brand assigns Instant Classic certification to the series, signaling an intent to position both models for collectors. Built at the Cassino plant, the Stelvio Collezione blends traditional Italian craftsmanship with current production tech, a combination highlighted clearly in the release text.
