2026 Acura Integra A-spec

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • The 2026 Acura Integra gets a subtle but effective visual refresh

  • New Urban Gray and Apex Blue colors add bite to its street presence

  • Enhanced tech and interior tweaks aim to keep it sharp against rivals

Familiar Form, Fresh Surface

There’s something to be said for restraint. The 2026 Acura Integra doesn’t reinvent itself. It sharpens what’s already there. Same silhouette, same stance — but now with tighter lines, a more disciplined front fascia, and fresh color options. Apex Blue Pearl is loud in a good way. Urban Gray Pearl has more subtlety, but still gives it presence.

The grille redesign is mild but works — the whole face feels more cohesive now. Acura also recontoured the lower fascia and headlights, which taper a bit more cleanly into the front fenders. No dramatic shifts, just tidier execution.

Wheels, Stance, and the Right Amount of Attitude

The Integra holds its familiar proportions but adds a touch more bite in its stance. Standard 18-inch split-spoke wheels on the A-Spec look right at home. Opt for the new 19-inch Berlina Black wheels if you want something sharper without tipping into tuner territory.

There’s no fake aggression here. No faux vents or awkward flares. The Integra still looks like a daily driver — just one that wouldn’t mind taking the long way home.

Subtle Interior Tweaks That Make Sense

Inside, things are mostly the same — and that’s okay. The 2026 update brings a cleaner digital gauge cluster, now standard across all trims. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? Finally, also standard.

Step into the Type S, and it gets a bit more interesting. Ultrasuede-trimmed seats feel sporty without being juvenile. There’s also a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D system that seems like overkill — until you’re alone, music up, carving corners.

Powertrain Stays Put — No Complaints There

Acura left the engines alone. Smart move. The standard Integra still uses the 1.5-liter turbo four with 200 hp. Plenty for a spirited drive. The Type S remains the enthusiast pick with its 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four, kicking out 320 horsepower and mated to a six-speed manual.

No hybrid distractions. No CVT drama. Just honest driving dynamics — a rarity these days.

Competitive Edge in a Shrinking Segment

Compact performance cars aren’t exactly thriving. With fewer sedans and hatches out there, the Integra’s staying power matters. It’s not as posh as an Audi A3 or BMW 2 Gran Coupe, but it doesn’t need to be. It delivers on feel, not flash.

For drivers chasing engagement over status, the 2026 Acura Integra still makes a solid case — now with cleaner looks and a few thoughtful upgrades to match.
