2026 Acura ADX CZ-77 Concept
By Lorenzo Bianchi October 24, 2026
The 2026 Acura ADX CZ-77 Concept is a one-off project developed with BMX athlete Coco Zurita and Vans, with its public debut scheduled for October 24, 2026, at Vans headquarters in Costa Mesa, California.
Exterior modifications include a carbon fibre aerodynamic body kit, custom fender flares, 19-inch Rotiform wheels with aero discs, Yokohama tyres and a rear structure designed to carry a BMX bike.
The interior uses fabrics supplied by Vans North America, alongside Sparco bucket seats, a Sparco steering wheel, custom upholstery, an NRG harness bar and a rear-seat delete.
Acura ADX CZ-77 Concept Takes Inspiration From BMX Culture
Acura has introduced the 2026 Acura ADX CZ-77 Concept, a customised version of its compact SUV developed in collaboration with professional BMX rider Coco Zurita and action-sports brand Vans.
Revealed on October 23, 2026, the one-off project draws inspiration from Vans footwear, BMX culture and Zurita's interest in motorsports.
Its public debut is scheduled for October 24 at Vans headquarters in Costa Mesa, California, coinciding with the release of Zurita's limited-edition Vans shoe.
Carbon Fibre Body Kit and Custom Front Splitter
The ADX CZ-77 receives a series of exterior modifications that distinguish it from the production SUV.
A custom carbon fibre front lip and splitter alter the lower bumper treatment, while widened fender flares and revised side skirts extend the modifications along the body.
At the rear, Acura lists a custom diffuser, rear bar and exhaust system.
Exterior graphics are derived from the Vans x Coco Zurita footwear campaign, connecting the vehicle's visual treatment with the accompanying shoe collection.
Rotiform Wheels and Rear BMX Bike Structure
The concept uses 19 x 9.5-inch Rotiform wheels fitted with aerodynamic discs and Yokohama ADVAN Sport V105 tyres.
Custom fender flares accompany the wider wheel setup, although Acura does not provide revised overall dimensions or track-width measurements.
A purpose-built structure at the rear secures and displays a BMX bicycle.
This addition gives the customised SUV a specific practical function related to Zurita's sporting background, rather than serving solely as an exterior styling element.
Vans Footwear Materials Shape the Interior
Inside, the CZ-77 Concept incorporates fabrics and design references taken directly from Vans footwear.
According to Acura, approximately 90 percent of the fabric used throughout the build was supplied by Vans North America, including materials associated with its Skate and BMX footwear.
Sparco bucket seats replace the original seating arrangement, accompanied by a Sparco steering wheel and custom upholstery designed by Zurita.
The build also features an NRG harness bar, a modified centre console and CZ-77 interior details.
The rear seats have been removed, changing the standard ADX passenger configuration.
Custom Exhaust With No Confirmed Power Increase
Acura identifies a custom exhaust system among the vehicle's mechanical modifications.
However, the announcement provides no revised engine output, acceleration figures, transmission changes or suspension specifications.
One Off Project Celebrates Two Anniversaries
The CZ-77 Concept marks Zurita's 20-year association with Vans and the footwear company's 60th anniversary.
It also continues his relationship with Acura, following a customised Integra introduced at the 2022 SEMA Show and a TLX Type S project presented in 2024.
Unlike a new production trim, the CZ-77 is a one-off build. Acura has announced no production allocation or retail price for the concept.
