The ABT RS5-R increases the Audi RS 5's combined plug-in hybrid output from 639 PS to approximately 720 PS, with maximum torque rising to 905 Nm.
A carbon-fibre aerodynamic package, 22-inch ABT EVO Performance wheels, suspension springs and sport anti-roll bars distinguish the conversion.
Limited to 130 examples, the RS5-R is available for Sedan and Avant models, with German package prices starting at €62,000 before installation and the cost of the donor vehicle.
ABT RS5-R Brings More Power to Audi's Hybrid RS 5
ABT has introduced the 2026 ABT RS5-R, a limited-series performance conversion for the Audi RS 5 Sedan and Avant, combining a substantial power increase with revised bodywork and chassis components.
The most significant change is found beneath the bonnet. ABT's Power S upgrade raises the plug-in hybrid system output to approximately 720 PS, while the exterior receives a comprehensive carbon-fibre aerodynamic package.
Production is limited to 130 examples, each carrying dedicated identification inside the cabin.
Carbon Fibre Aerodynamics and Revised Bodywork
The RS5-R receives a complete aerodynamic conversion, available in gloss visible carbon or matt Carbon Camouflage.
At the front, ABT installs a redesigned spoiler with integrated blades, giving the lower bumper a more pronounced appearance.
Louvres in the front wheel arches add another visible detail, while carbon-fibre mirror caps and side skirts extend the treatment along the body.
The rear features a new apron with an integrated diffuser.
On the Avant, a rear wing incorporating aerodynamic blades completes the exterior package.
22 Inch Forged Wheels and Lower Suspension
The RS5-R rides on forged 22-inch ABT EVO Performance wheels finished in gloss black.
These are paired with 315/25 R22 tyres, giving the car a particularly wide wheel-and-tyre arrangement.
Suspension springs lower the body, while sport anti-roll bars are intended to reduce body movement through corners.
Together, the changes address both the stance and the handling characteristics of the modified RS 5.
Dinamica Interior and Limited Edition Identification
Inside, the RS5-R receives dedicated materials and identification details.
Dinamica microfibre panels cover sections of the centre console, dashboard and seat frames.
The shift paddles adopt a carbon finish matching the chosen exterior package.
Special badges and door sill trims display the inscription "1 of 130", identifying the limited-series conversion.
ABT has not announced additional changes to the infotainment system or passenger accommodation [Unverified].
720 PS Plug In Hybrid Performance
The RS5-R retains the 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 and electric motor arrangement.
With ABT Power S, combined output increases from 639 PS to approximately 720 PS, while torque rises from 825 to 905 Nm.
The combustion engine alone develops approximately 591 PS and 680 Nm after modification.
ABT confirms that the top speed remains at the standard production level.
The performance upgrade is compatible with the myABT application, and the quoted figures apply when using 98 RON petrol.
Pricing and Future Performance Upgrades
German package pricing begins at €62,000 for the Sedan in gloss carbon, rising to €68,000 for the Avant in matt Carbon Camouflage.
Installation and TÜV approval cost extra, while the base Audi RS 5 is not included.
ABT also plans further retrofit options for the second quarter of 2027, including an 800 PS performance upgrade and a titanium exhaust system developed by Akrapovič.
