2025 Vanderhall Brawley GTS

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • Quad-motor EV with 404 hp and 484 lb-ft of torque.

  • 40-kWh battery, 140-mile claimed range.

  • Street-legal UTV with heated seats, AC, and premium features.

Vanderhall’s Latest Step into Electrified Off-Roading

Electrification is reaching every corner of the market, and Vanderhall Motor Works is pushing into new ground with the 2025 Vanderhall Brawley GTS. Based in Provo, Utah, the company made its name with lightweight three-wheelers, but the Brawley is a different beast: an all-electric, four-seat off-road buggy that blends UTV proportions with unexpected luxury.

With deliveries now underway, Vanderhall positions the Brawley GTS as an alternative to both traditional UTVs and entry-level off-road SUVs. It enters the market at $49,950, undercutting some dedicated off-road EVs while offering far more comfort than most side-by-sides.

Quad-Motor Power in a Compact Package

The heart of the Brawley GTS is its quad-motor setup. Each wheel gets its own motor, producing a combined 404 hp and 484 lb-ft of torque. That configuration gives it a serious edge in loose terrain, where independent torque control is invaluable. Regenerative braking adds efficiency while helping manage the modest 40-kWh battery pack.

Acceleration numbers haven’t been officially published, but with four motors and relatively low weight, the Brawley promises quick bursts of speed, particularly on dirt trails. Vanderhall claims a top range of 140 miles per charge, a figure that may limit long-distance adventures but works for weekend trail runs or short commutes.

Design and Dimensions

The Brawley doesn’t look like a conventional SUV. Its buggy-like proportions signal Vanderhall’s powersports heritage. While the stance and chunky tires echo Jeep Wrangler vibes, the Brawley is technically classified as a UTV. Even so, its design makes it stand out: compact, square-shouldered, and functional, built for trails rather than suburban parking lots.

Where it diverges from traditional UTVs is the enclosed cabin. This isn’t a stripped-down trail rig—Vanderhall designed the Brawley GTS with comfort in mind.

Comfort Features Uncommon in UTVs

Inside, the Brawley offers heated seats, air conditioning, and enclosed weather protection. That might sound normal in a family SUV, but in the world of side-by-sides, those touches are unusual. The cabin seats four, with proper chairs rather than basic buckets. This makes it far more approachable for those who want to explore off-road without giving up creature comforts.

It also helps that the Brawley is street-legal, meaning owners can drive it to the trail instead of trailering it—though the limited range makes the latter a safer option for longer trips.

At just under $50,000, the Vanderhall Brawley GTS sits in a unique position.
