2025 Skoda Vision O Concept
By Lorenzo Bianchi September 8, 2025
The 2025 Skoda Vision O Concept previews a compact all-electric SUV scheduled for production in 2026.
At 4.1 meters long, it offers seating for five, a 475-liter boot, and a range of up to 425 km.
First model to fully adopt Skoda’s Modern Solid design language, with production planned in Spain under VW’s Electric Urban Car Family.
A Compact SUV with Practical Ambitions
The 2025 Skoda Vision O Concept made its debut at Volkswagen Group’s media workshop ahead of the IAA in Munich. Positioned as Skoda’s most affordable all-electric SUV, the show car points directly at a production model due in mid-2026
At 4.1 meters in length, the Vision O keeps its footprint compact but doesn’t skimp on usability. Five passengers fit comfortably inside, and luggage capacity is rated at 475 liters. With a projected range of up to 425 kilometers, it’s pitched as an everyday companion that can stretch beyond city commutes.
Design Language: Modern Solid in Full Swing
This is the first Skoda to fully adopt the brand’s Modern Solid design philosophy. The styling is bold yet stripped back, focusing on robustness and functionality rather than unnecessary flair
The concept wears Cashmere matte paint, contrasted by a glossy black Tech-Deck Face. Up front, T-shaped LED daytime running lights frame slimmer headlamps, while a Cosmo grey spoiler underscores the bumper. Along the side, a newly drawn tornado line strengthens the shoulders and separates the glass cabin from the body, giving the SUV a more contemporary stance.
Interior: Clever and Functional
The cabin sticks to Skoda’s tradition of usability. Storage solutions include hooks, fasteners, and hidden underfloor compartments. There’s wireless phone charging and a mix of physical buttons with haptic scroll wheels, avoiding the all-screen approach some rivals lean on. It’s minimalist, but in a way that feels practical rather than spartan
Production Strategy
The Skoda Vision O will be built in Spain at Volkswagen’s Navarra plant. It’s part of the Electric Urban Car Family initiative under VW’s Brand Group Core, which will yield four affordable EVs across three brands. Skoda’s Vision O slots in as the accessible entry point for customers looking at electric mobility without premium pricing.
