  • Weissach Package adds carbon fiber and magnesium for lower weight.

  • 4.0L naturally aspirated engine delivers 502 hp and 9,000 rpm redline.

  • Suspension and aero updates aimed at consistent track performance.

A familiar shape, just tightened up

The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 doesn’t try to change its identity. It doesn’t need to.

With the Weissach Package, the visual differences are easy to miss at first. The outline stays the same, still instantly recognisable as a Porsche 911. What changes is how the details are handled.

The front gets a revised diffuser and a slightly cleaner airflow path underneath. Around the back, the wing elements and diffuser have been reworked to keep the car stable at speed. It’s all fairly subtle. No oversized add-ons, no unnecessary drama.

The Weissach Package brings more carbon fibre into view. Not in a flashy way, just enough to remind you where the focus sits.

Same stance, lighter underneath

Park it next to the outgoing car and the proportions barely shift.

That’s not where the effort has gone. Weight reduction is the bigger story here. Magnesium wheels, part of the Weissach Package, take a noticeable chunk off compared to standard wheels. There’s also a lightweight battery and smaller incremental savings across the car.

None of this changes how it looks. It changes how it reacts. The steering feels a bit more immediate, the car settles quicker over direction changes. Small gains, but they add up.

Interior keeps things straightforward

Inside, Porsche hasn’t tried to reinvent anything.

The layout stays driver-focused. A digital instrument display sits behind the wheel, with the option to strip things back using the Track Screen. That mode removes distractions, leaving just the essentials like tire pressures and shift indicators.

The optional carbon bucket seats continue the same theme. They’re light, supportive, and still usable enough outside a circuit. Folding backrests make access easier, which is a small detail but a useful one.

There’s more customization available now, though the Weissach setup leans toward a cleaner, more purposeful look.

The engine remains the highlight

The core of the car hasn’t changed, and that’s the point.

The 4.0-liter flat-six still produces 502 horsepower and revs out to 9,000 rpm. It’s one of the few engines left that delivers power this way. No assistance, no filtering. Just a linear pull all the way to the top.

Both gearbox options remain. The PDK shifts quickly and suits track use. The manual keeps things more involved, especially on the road. Shorter gearing helps both feel more responsive.

Performance figures stay strong. Around 3.2 seconds to 60 mph with PDK, and a top speed close to 193 mph.

Chassis work you notice when pushing harder

Most of the real changes show up when the car is driven properly.

The suspension setup has been refined to reduce body movement and keep the car stable over uneven surfaces. There’s also an anti-dive system that limits pitch under braking, which helps when entering corners at speed.

The double-wishbone front axle continues, paired with wide tires that give the car plenty of grip to work with. It’s not about making the GT3 easier. It just makes it more predictable at the limit.

A focused upgrade, not a different car

The Weissach Package isn’t about transforming the GT3 into something else.

It’s aimed at owners who already understand what the car does well and want a bit more sharpness. Less weight, slightly cleaner aero, a more focused feel.

For anyone using the GT3 on track, those changes matter. For everyone else, they sit quietly in the background.

The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 Weissach Package doesn’t try to stand out. It refines what’s already there and leaves the rest alone.
