2025 Pagani Utopia The Coyote

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • The 2025 Pagani Utopia The Coyote revives race-inspired livery while keeping its 864‑hp V12 and manual gearbox intact.

  • Its stance is aggressive but refined, with classic proportions enhanced by vintage touches and modern aerodynamics.

  • Limited run means exclusivity—this Coyote build highlights Pagani’s bespoke craftsmanship and differentiates it in the hypercar field.

Heritage Looks Meet Modern Sculpting

When the 2025 Pagani Utopia The Coyote rolls into view, it’s hard not to see the lineage. The Bianco Benny paint with Rosso Monza and Turquoise stripes isn’t overdone—it leans into vintage endurance racing cues. Yet, beneath that retro shell, the proportions are pure Utopia: long teardrop greenhouse, low-slung stance, swept fenders. The 21‑ and 22‑inch staggered wheels fill the arches perfectly—no awkward gaps. Surfaces flow, dips channel air, and the coyote theme adds playful art without compromising the sculptural presence.

V12 Soul, Analog Focus

Under the hood? A Mercedes‑AMG‑built 6.0‑liter twin‑turbo V12 cranking out roughly 864 hp (635 kW) and a thunderous 1,100 Nm of torque. Power hits the rear wheels through a bespoke 7‑speed Xtrac gearbox—yes, that includes the rare manual option. No hybrid gimmicks. No forced smoothness. Just visceral, raw V12 energy. Pagani even keeps the exhaust anchored by that iconic tetrad of titanium pipes—lightweight, heat-coated, and signature loud.

Interior: A Feast of Analog Craft

Open the butterfly doors and the interior hits different. There’s barely a screen in sight. Instead, flat analog dials, exposed mechanical linkages, and a steering wheel milled from a single aluminum block. Classic, tactile, raw. The gear lever’s exposed mechanism is the sort you almost fear to touch, but want to anyway. It’s all ergonomic, but built like a piece of art—a sense Pagani has nailed for years.

Tech and Aero That You Feel, Not See

Pagani didn’t skimp on performance tech. Active aero, mind-tunely wind-tunnel tin work, Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres made specially for Utopia—they all tune the drive without shouting. Double-wishbone suspension borrowed from the track-focused Huayra R adds road composure. In short: it’s sculptural in design, but ruthless in function.

Standing Out Among Hypercar Rivals

This isn’t about topping the McLarens and Lamborghinis in a spec sheet. It’s about soul. The Coyote’s retro livery gestures at heritage, but the mechanics keep it firmly modern. And while its pricetag—around US $2.2 million base, rising higher for bespoke builds—is in line with hypercar territory, the scarcity (just ~99 coupés plus even fewer Coyote editions) seals its collector status.
