It’s part of the Fuoriserie program, Maserati’s in-house atelier, which lets clients tailor cars with a mix of curated finishes and rare materials.

The GranCabrio Summer Collection follows on from similar treatments applied to the GranTurismo and Grecale, but here the formula feels particularly fitting. A convertible grand tourer, by its very nature, lends itself to seasonal expression. Maserati has leaned into that idea, dialing up the lifestyle element while keeping the underlying performance untouched.

Exterior and interior refinements

The changes are subtle but deliberate. Customers can choose from new exterior shades — light pastels, metallic tones, even some matte finishes — all designed to play with summer light. A discreet badge and Fuoriserie plate mark out the edition, but there’s no heavy-handed branding.

Inside, Maserati has curated lighter upholstery choices, contrasting stitches, and embroidered headrests. Trim options extend to open-pore wood and brushed metal, giving the cabin an airy, refined feel. It’s a careful balance of elegance and craftsmanship rather than a radical redesign.

The soft-top roof remains as before: fully electric, deployable at speeds up to 50 km/h, with sound insulation and aerodynamics tuned for roof-up refinement.

Engines unchanged, and that’s no bad thing

Maserati hasn’t touched the hardware, and for good reason. Buyers still get a choice of the twin-turbo Nettuno V6 or the all-electric Folgore.

Maserati hasn’t skimped on tech. The 12.3-inch infotainment screen, digital cluster, and passenger-side display sit under a curved glass panel, giving the cabin a cohesive, modern look. A Sonus faber 19-speaker audio system remains on the options list, fitting for a car designed as much for long coastal drives as mountain passes.
