2025 Mahindra Motors BE 6e Batman Edition
By Lorenzo Bianchi August 21, 2025
Exclusively satin black finish with Alchemy Gold touches, Batman emblems across multiple surfaces, and a numbered "BE 6 × The Dark Knight" badge—limited to 300 units globally.
Uses top-tier Pack Three hardware—a 79 kWh battery offering a 682 km ARAI range, paired with a rear motor producing 286 hp and 380 Nm.
Dual-tone black and gold cabin, gold stitching and halos, Batman icons on seats, boost button, welcome animation, puddle lamp projections, and a limited-edition badge.
The 2025 Mahindra Motors BE 6e Batman Edition doesn’t pull any punches. Straight from the press photos, it’s clear this isn’t just another trim line with a badge swap. Mahindra has gone all in on the Gotham theme — a satin black SUV with gold detailing, oversized wheels, and logos that carry unmistakable weight. It’s one of those rare cases where a mainstream automaker dips into pop culture and actually commits.
Design that wears the cape
At first glance, the stance is serious. Low, broad shoulders, gloss-black cladding, and those 20-inch alloys with Batman logos set the tone. The Alchemy Gold highlights — brake calipers, suspension details, even wheel arch trims — stand out against the matte black paint. There’s even a Bat projection through the Infinity Roof, a touch made for nighttime photo ops.
It isn’t flashy in a loud, comic-book way. The proportions feel right, the surfacing clean, almost understated in places. But the limited-edition plaque on each one reminds you this is no ordinary BE 6. Just 300 exist, each carrying its number like a collector’s piece.
Inside Gotham’s cockpit
The cabin doesn’t let up. Black suede and leather dominate, with golden stitching pulling the details together. The Batman emblem is worked into the seats, the start-up animation, even the puddle lamps. It could have veered toward kitsch, but the balance feels deliberate — luxurious with just enough theatrics to remind you it’s special.
It’s the kind of interior that will appeal both to Batman devotees and buyers who simply want something distinctive in a crowded EV field.
Performance under the mask
Underneath, the BE 6e Batman Edition shares its heart with the BE 6 Pack Three. That means a single rear-mounted motor producing 286 hp and 380 Nm, fed by a 79 kWh battery pack. Range? ARAI-certified at 682 km, which puts it in very strong territory against rivals like Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 or Kia’s EV6.
Quick charging specs weren’t the centerpiece of the reveal, but Mahindra claims it’s built for rapid DC charging, keeping it competitive with its segment peers.
At ₹27.79 lakh (ex-showroom), this edition sits just above the standard Pack Three. The price bump is modest considering the exclusivity and detailing involved. This isn’t a volume play; it’s a brand statement. By tying into Warner Bros.’ Dark Knight Trilogy, Mahindra has tapped into something bigger than cars — cultural capital.
