2025 Lucid Gravity X Concept
By Lorenzo Bianchi August 15, 2025
Off-Road Enhancements: The Gravity X features lifted ride height, widened track, all-terrain tires, skid plates, and improved bumpers for better approach and departure angles.
Retains Performance Base: Power comes from the Gravity Grand Touring underpinning—828 hp, all-wheel drive, and an estimated 0–60 mph time of 3.4 seconds with up to 450 miles of range.
Adventure Styling with Premium Details: Grille and rocker panels include integrated topline maps and Pebble Beach coordinates; it wears Astral Drift tan paint with orange accents and rugged aesthetic cues.
Adventure Meets Aerodynamics
Lucid’s Gravity X Concept steps onto the Pebble Beach Concept Lawn with a clear message—it’s an adventure-capable SUV wrapped in elegant proportions. Based on the Gravity Grand Touring, this version inherits the clean, aerodynamic silhouette but gains visible trail credentials. The body sits higher, its track is wider, and it handles bigger, multi-spoke wheels set in chunky all-terrain tires.
The
front and rear bumpers are redesigned for better angles, and functional
skid plates protect the undercarriage. Integrated tow hooks and a roof
rack with LED spotlights underscore the Gravity X’s readiness. The
Astral Drift satin paint contrasts with orange accents along thresholds,
tow hooks, wheels, and rocker graphics. Topographic engravings of Big
Sur and Death Valley embellish the hood, and Pebble Beach coordinates
appear on sill plates—firmly rooting the vehicle in Californian terrain.
Extending the Core Performance
Underneath, the concept retains the 828-horsepower dual-motor setup of the Gravity Grand Touring. Lucid reports a 0–60 mph sprint in 3.4 seconds and up to 450 miles of EPA-rated range
from its 123 kWh battery pack. All-wheel drive remains standard, and
these core specs stay intact even with added off-road hardware.
Rugged Style That Holds Elegance
The Gravity X blends its rugged upgrades without sacrificing Lucid’s design identity. The orange detailing over Astral Drift paint and brushed-metal fascia components add rugged refinement. Despite the purposeful trail styling, Lucid retains clean lines and aerodynamic sensibilities typical of its design philosophy.
