2025 Ford Maverick 300T Concept
By Lorenzo Bianchi November 5, 2025
The 2025 Ford Maverick 300T Concept delivers 300 hp and 317 lb-ft from a Mustang-sourced turbocharged engine.
Developed by Ford Performance Parts for Maverick XL, XLT, and Lariat trims.
Features new suspension tuning, 20-inch Mach-E GT wheels, and exclusive Bronze or Black finishes.
Mustang Power Meets Compact Truck Practicality
At the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Ford has given its most accessible pickup a performance transplant. The 2025 Ford Maverick 300T Concept arrives as a Ford Performance project vehicle that reimagines the compact truck as a factory-built street machine — part hot hatch, part sport truck.
Ford engineers call it “a Mustang heart in a Maverick body,” and the numbers support that claim. The concept’s 2.0-litre EcoBoost has been fitted with the turbocharger from the 2.3-litre Mustang, boosting output to 300 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque — a gain of 50 hp and 40 lb-ft over stock
The centerpiece is a 59mm compressor wheel, up from 53mm on the standard turbo, paired with a Mishimoto intercooler that’s 58.8% larger. Intake temperatures drop by nearly 40%, ensuring repeatable power on hot runs. The setup ties together through Ford’s ProCal 4 tune and a Borla exhaust tuned for sharper response.
Handling Upgrades for Everyday Performance
The 300T Concept isn’t just about straight-line speed. Ford Performance engineers gave it a full suspension overhaul — 10mm lower up front, 30mm lower at the rear, and equipped it with re-valved monotube dampers for greater control. A stiffer rear stabilizer bar (34.7 N/mm) helps counter roll, and the tuning gives the truck sharper steering feel without losing comfort.
It rides on 20-inch Mach-E GT wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Elect tyres (though the show truck wears Michelin Pilot Sport 4S). This setup drops the Maverick’s stance noticeably while delivering grip that wouldn’t look out of place on a performance sedan
The package, Ford says, will eventually be made available to customers as a Ford Performance Parts upgrade kit in 2026, designed for Maverick XL, XLT, and Lariat AWD models equipped with the 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine.
Design with Purpose
Visually, the Maverick 300T Concept keeps the truck’s clean lines but adds a more assertive look. Available in Black or Bronze packages, it features new “300T” graphics, Ford Performance badging, and bronze-accented tailgate lettering. Bronze highlights continue across the wheels and interior floor mats, giving the truck a subtle motorsport-inspired tone.
In person, the stance is what stands out most — the lowered body and wider wheels give the Maverick proportions reminiscent of early SVT Lightning builds, but in a smaller, more usable footprint.
A Street Truck for Enthusiasts
The 2025 Ford Maverick 300T Concept feels less like a marketing exercise and more like a conversation with enthusiasts — one that started on forums and ended on the SEMA floor. Ford admits the idea came from late-night browsing of the Maverick Truck Club and Reddit, where owners have been modifying their trucks since day one.
