2025 Fiat Abarth 600e Competizione

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • Most powerful series-production Abarth ever, with 280 PS and a clear motorsport focus.

  • Hardware upgrades target handling and driver involvement rather than headline theatrics.

  • Positioned above the Turismo as the definitive performance expression of the electric Abarth 600e.

Abarth sharpens its electric flagship

With the unveiling of the 2025 Fiat Abarth 600e Competizione, Abarth makes its intentions unmistakably clear. This is not an appearance package or a marginal update. Introduced as part of the new model year, the Competizione becomes the most powerful production Abarth ever, replacing the launch special edition and setting a new internal benchmark for the brand’s electric era. Orders are open immediately, underlining that this is a core model, not a limited experiment.

Performance defined by hardware, not slogans

At the heart of the Abarth 600e Competizione is a 207 kW electric motor, equivalent to 280 PS. That output alone places it at the top of the brand’s road car hierarchy, but the story does not stop at numbers. Abarth pairs the power with a package of components drawn directly from motorsport practice. A mechanical limited-slip differential, a high-performance braking system with monoblock calipers, and dedicated Sabelt racing seats define the car’s technical character.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 5.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 200 km/h. The emphasis is clearly on repeatable performance and control rather than outright top-end figures. Energy consumption is quoted between 17.5 and 18.9 kWh per 100 km, with a combined WLTP range of 315 to 344 kilometres.

Exterior design with clear intent

Visually, the 600e Competizione leans harder into Abarth’s performance identity. The muscular stance and compact proportions remain familiar, but the details are more assertive. Optional two-tone paint schemes combine body colours such as Shock Orange, Acid Green, or Antidote White with a contrasting black roof. A specific graphic kit and prominent Abarth lettering reinforce the car’s motorsport positioning without resorting to excess.

The silhouette remains aerodynamically shaped rather than decorative, suggesting that function continues to guide form.

Interior focused on the driver

Inside, the intent becomes more personal. Alcantara, a material commonly found in race cars, dominates the cockpit. The deeply curved racing seats are designed to keep the driver firmly in place even at high speeds thanks to integrated headrests. The environment is clearly in keeping with the Competizione badge, focused, and free of unnecessary distractions.

Platform and positioning within the range

The Abarth 600e Competizione is built on Stellantis’ Perfo-eCMP platform, developed specifically for battery-electric vehicles. Abarth frames the car as a modern interpretation of Carlo Abarth’s original philosophy, transferring the brand’s performance values into an electric context without softening them.

Within the lineup, the Competizione sits above the 600e Turismo, which continues as the more everyday-focused option with 240 PS and a 0–100 km/h time of 6.2 seconds. Pricing reflects this hierarchy, with the Competizione listed from €45,990, compared with €41,990 for the Turismo.

A clear statement of intent

The 2025 Fiat Abarth 600e Competizione does not attempt to justify electrification. It assumes it. By focusing on power delivery, chassis hardware, and driver engagement, Abarth presents the Competizione as proof that the brand’s scorpion badge still stands for intensity, even without combustion noise.
