A Subtle Step Forward
The 2025 Dacia Jogger doesn’t chase trends. It evolves them. At first glance, it still looks like the honest, family-ready estate-SUV crossover it’s always been — long, upright, unpretentious. But dig into the details and you’ll find a car that’s learned a few new tricks.
Press images show sharper LED lighting, including Dacia’s new inverted “T” signature that connects to a lightly reworked grille. The surfaces are cleaner now, less busy than before. Around the back, vertical tail lamps extend visually into the glass, giving the car a bit more height and presence
The overall shape — still part estate, part SUV, part people-mover — remains intact. It’s a design built around usability rather than fashion. Yet there’s an honesty in that approach. The stance feels sturdier thanks to new bumpers and body cladding made from Starkle®, a scratch-resistant, speckled plastic that’s partially recycled and doesn’t need paint. It’s a clever detail — one that looks tougher and happens to lower production emissions too.
Inside: Practical as Ever, But Smarter
Step inside, and you can tell Dacia has started listening more closely to its buyers. The dash is still simple, but it’s better dressed — blue cloth trim on the doors and dashboard brings warmth, while new seat fabrics feel tougher and better finished. A 10-inch central screen now dominates the layout, flanked by a 7-inch digital instrument display. The overall design doesn’t shout; it just feels right for what it is.
The YouClip accessory system — a typically Dacia touch — adds practical flexibility with multiple anchor points for bags, phones, or even a tablet. It’s the kind of small, real-world thinking that gives the Jogger a longer shelf life than trend-driven crossovers.
Under the Hood: Efficiency Without Fuss
The biggest change comes under the skin. The 2025 Jogger debuts the Hybrid 155 system, pairing a 1.8-litre petrol engine with two electric motors and a compact battery. The result is better low-speed smoothness and roughly 10% lower emissions compared to the older Hybrid 140.
In city driving, it can run on electric power up to 80% of the time — no plugging in, no added fuss.
For those sticking to petrol or LPG, the Eco-G 120 variant is worth noting. The updated 1.2-litre three-cylinder gains 20 extra horsepower and — for the first time — can be paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. It’s still modest, but that’s part of the Jogger’s charm: efficiency first, complexity later.
