2025 Bufori CS8
By Lorenzo Bianchi September 4, 2025
The Bufori CS8 is powered by a 6.4-litre supercharged V8 producing 810 hp, paired with an 8-speed paddle-shift transmission.
Lightweight Carbon-Kevlar monocoque construction delivers rigidity, safety, and a starting curb weight of 1,550 kg, with 25% weight balance at each corner.
Every CS8 is bespoke and made to order, with handcrafted interiors, Recaro seating, and unlimited personalization.
A Landmark Debut in Malaysia
The 2025 Bufori CS8 was officially unveiled in Kuala Lumpur during Malaysia’s Merdeka week, a symbolic launch underscoring the nation’s capability to produce a world-class ultra-luxury performance vehicle. Handbuilt entirely in Malaysia, the CS8 is the latest chapter in Bufori’s nearly four decades of bespoke automotive craftsmanship.
Launched in partnership with Affin Bank at Menara Affin @ TRX, the CS8 brings together high-performance engineering, artisanal detail, and exclusivity in a way few modern vehicles attempt. Bufori’s aim is clear: create a machine that captures the visceral thrill of speed while preserving the refinement required for long-distance grand touring.
Engineered for Performance
At the core of the CS8 lies a front mid-mounted 6.4-litre supercharged V8 engine. Output is a remarkable 810 horsepower (750 wheel horsepower), with power sent to the rear wheels via a high-performance 8-speed paddle-shift transmission.
This setup promises immediate acceleration and confident delivery whether on a mountain pass or an open highway. Michelin high-performance tyres provide the contact patch, ensuring grip and predictability in both wet and dry conditions.
Bufori’s engineering team paired the drivetrain with a Carbon-Kevlar monocoque body—a lightweight yet extremely strong structure. With a starting curb weight of 1,550 kg, the CS8 achieves 25% weight distribution on each corner. Suspension comes in the form of adaptive multi-link systems front and rear, tuned for agility during cornering but comfortable enough for continent-spanning drives.
Braking is delivered through Brembo six-piston monobloc calipers, bringing the necessary stopping power to match the engine’s high output.
A Marriage of Performance and Luxury
Inside, the CS8 reflects the same philosophy as its engineering: uncompromising balance. The driver and passenger sit in electrically adjustable Recaro bucket seats, wrapped in some of the world’s finest leathers. Around the cabin, exposed structural carbon-fibre panels remind occupants of the car’s performance pedigree.
Bufori describes the CS8’s cabin as “contemporary yet timeless,” blending traditional craftsmanship with modern materials. From bespoke paint finishes to hand-stitched upholstery, nearly every element can be tailored to the customer’s specification. In true Bufori fashion, no two CS8s will ever be the same.
Vision and Craftsmanship
“The CS8 represents the pinnacle of Bufori’s design and engineering capabilities,” said Gerry Khouri, Founder and Managing Director of Bufori Motor Car Company. He emphasized that the car is predictable, forgiving, and durable—attributes often overlooked in ultra-high performance vehicles.
This philosophy underpins the CS8’s identity as more than a supercar. Bufori positions it as an Ultra High Performance Grand Tourer—a machine designed not just for performance metrics, but for the experience of traveling at speed, in comfort, and in individuality.
Design and Materials
Visually, the Bufori CS8 carries the elegance associated with the marque, but it is underpinned by cutting-edge materials and engineering. The Carbon-Kevlar body is a statement of lightweight resilience, while every curve and panel is shaped to both satisfy aesthetic appeal and functional aerodynamics.
Bufori’s artisans have spent decades perfecting a blend of old-world handcrafting with modern construction. Each CS8 is built entirely by hand, ensuring exacting quality control. Beyond performance, this method guarantees individuality—a central theme to the Bufori brand.
