Lexus, in collaboration with Malbon Golf, has introduced the 2024 Lexus GX 550 Malbon Edition, a special project vehicle tailored for the ultimate golfing group. The partnership combines luxury and adventure, aiming to provide an enhanced golfing experience for up to four people.

• The GX 550 Malbon Edition includes a Pelican™ BX140R Cargo Case mounted on a Prinsu® Roof Rack for storing larger golf clubs.
• A Yakima® SlimShady Roof Mounted Awning provides protection from sun and rain during golf outings.

Nicole Peterson, Lexus marketing manager, highlighted that the GX has been crafted specifically to cater to the needs of golf enthusiasts. The vehicle features a custom fairway wrap, pull-out storage box for golf gear, and Malbon Golf branding throughout. Stephen Malbon, co-founder of Malbon, emphasized that the GX 550 Malbon Edition focuses on community, offering a dedicated space for both passengers and equipment during golf outings.

This special project vehicle sports a green fairway topographic body wrap with a white roof and seats four passengers. The second row features captain’s chairs, while the third row has been replaced with a pull-out storage box that can hold up to four golf bags along with accessories like balls, shoes, and towels.

Malbon Golf logos are prominently displayed on the grille, headrests, doorsill, and center console. The 22-inch alloy wheels feature custom Malbon Buckets logo covers, adding to the vehicle's unique look. For larger clubs like drivers and woods, a Pelican™ BX140R Cargo Case is mounted on top of a Prinsu® Roof Rack, offering additional storage. A Yakima® SlimShady Roof Mounted Awning is also included, providing sun and rain protection before tee-off.

The 2024 Lexus GX Malbon Edition will be making appearances at various events throughout the remainder of 2024, including the Oregon Buckets Club Golf Tournament on October 7 and the Lexus Malbon Invitational at Miami Shores Country Club on December 4.
