2021 BYD Song Pro

April 12, 2021, the new BYD Song Pro officially listed, the new car launched a total of six models, the price range of 9.28-12.78 million. The new cars on the market this time are all fuel version models. As a mid-term change, the new Song Pro has been upgraded for both the exterior and interior, and is equipped with a new 1.5T engine.
Since the launch of Yuan EV, BYD’s family-based “Dragon Face” design language has been updated, and we have also seen similar designs on many subsequent models. Of course, the mid-term remodeled BYD Song Pro is no exception. The horizontal chrome-plated spokes design is used inside the further enlarged China Network, which is very eye-catching. At the same time, the “Song” model logo is more integrated with the car body on the horizontal trim.
On the side of the body, the complicated waistline design outlines the muscles on the side of the new car, while the suspended roof design is also retained. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4650/1860/1700mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2712mm. It is positioned as a compact SUV.
The rear design of the new Song Pro is not much different from the current model. Elements such as through-type taillights, hidden exhaust, and under-mounted reversing lights still appear on the new car. In response to the front bumper, the shape of the rear bumper of the new car has been adjusted to provide a richer sense of hierarchy.
The interior is the major part of the new car’s facelift, which is officially called the Dragon Beard design element. Compared with the simple design of the old model, the center console of the new Song Pro uses more streamlined design, which makes the overall embracing style. The exquisite floating instrument replaces the traditional instrument form of the old model. The size is small, but it improves the overall sense of science and technology.
The 12.8-inch rotatable floating central control screen appears on the top and second top models of the new Song Pro, built-in BYD’s latest third-generation DiLink intelligent network connection system, supporting voice interaction, BYD smart cloud services, and mobile phone NFC keys , OTA remote upgrade and other functions. The top model is also equipped with technology configurations such as adaptive cruise control, anti-collision warning, automatic emergency braking assist, blind spot monitoring, parallel assist, reversing collision warning, and backward collision warning.
