The 2005 Ram 1500 SRT-10 up for auction runs the original 8.3-liter, 500-hp V10 sourced from the Dodge Viper, and still holds the Guinness World Record as the fastest production pickup ever built.
RealTruck reworked the truck with a yellow-over-black two-tone scheme, Viper-inspired graphics, matching custom wheels, and functional add-ons including PowerStep running boards and a roll-up tonneau cover.
The SRT-10 crosses Barrett-Jackson's Las Vegas block Sept. 11, 2026, paired with a one-of-one 2027 Ram Rumble Bee SRT, with all proceeds benefiting the Folds of Honor Foundation and UFC Foundation.
Exterior Design
RealTruck's treatment of the 2005 Ram 1500 SRT-10 sticks to a yellow-over-black two-tone paint scheme, paired with black hood graphics and Viper-inspired bedside graphics that nod to the truck's original engine donor. Custom wheels finished in matching yellow and black carry the color theme down to the ground, giving the build a cohesive look rather than a mismatched collection of add-ons.
Interior Space and Technology
Inside, the cabin gets Alea black leather seats trimmed with yellow accents, echoing the exterior's color split.
Powertrain and Performance
The engine is the truck's real claim to fame: an 8.3-liter V10 pulled from the Dodge Viper parts bin, rated at 500 horsepower when the SRT-10 launched two decades ago. That powertrain made it the fastest production pickup of its era, and Guinness World Records still credits it with the title today.
Practical Usability
Beyond the styling, RealTruck loaded the SRT-10 with its own accessory lineup: PowerStep retractable running boards, a Pro X15 soft roll-up tonneau cover, and Husky Liners floor liners and bed protection. The additions double as a showcase for RealTruck's product catalog as much as they serve the truck itself, given the company's role in the build.
Market Positioning
This SRT-10 isn't going to auction alone. It crosses the block as a pair with a one-of-one 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT — Ram's newest performance pickup, built around a supercharged Hellcat V8 — at Barrett-Jackson's 2026 Las Vegas Auction on Friday, Sept. 11, inside the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Barrett-Jackson is waiving all fees and commissions, so the full hammer price benefits the Folds of Honor Foundation, which funds scholarships for the families of fallen or disabled military members and first responders, with a portion also supporting Hispanic charities through the UFC Foundation. UFC president and CEO Dana White will join Barrett-Jackson chairman and CEO Craig Jackson on the auction block to help drive bidding, and the winning bidder also receives a VIP UFC Experience. RealTruck's Lee Riser tied the sale's timing to the truck's history, noting the 2005 model year lines up with the launch of UFC's Ultimate Fighter under Dana White and that this SRT-10 served as inspiration for the Rumble Bee it's paired with. The auction itself falls on the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, framing the sale as a tribute to first responders and service members alongside its charitable goal.
